Chapter 43 I Take Pleasure in Her Falling

Annabelle didn't see eye to eye with Cadence, so she intended to walk away. She sneered and yelled, "Cadence, get lost! You're standing in my way."

When Cadence caught sight of the person who was walking out of the ward from the corner of her eyes, her eyes glittered with malice.

Cadence quickly stopped in front of Annabelle and was about to hit Annabelle with her hands raised.

However, the next moment, Annabelle made a quick response by raising her hands to grab Cadence's wrist and throwing her aside.

Little strength did Annabelle exert, Cadence staggered and fell down the stairs beside her after losing her footing.

Seeing Cadence's falling, Annabelle was dumbfounded and looked at her hands in disbelief.

"Cadence!" A man cried out anxiously.

Annabelle understood it instantly when she turned her head and saw Callan running over from afar.
