Chapter 39 Assignment of Adam

The car pulled up to Annabelle's apartment building.

Annabelle got out and headed in.

Callan's car idled in its spot for a few minutes after she left. From the front seat, Julius cautiously asked, "Mr. Clay, should we head back to Astrum Residence now?"

"Yep," Callan responded, pulling his gaze away from the apartment building.

After returning to her apartment, Annabelle quickly changed out of her formal attire and into some comfortable clothes.

After freshening up a bit, she sat down at her computer desk in the study.

The computer screen was glowing, all investments were trending positively.

As a junior administrator for Houghton, Annabelle checked on Houghton's status. Soon, Adam, who had contacted her earlier, logged on.

Annabelle raised an eyebrow. It was only after she had agreed to join Houghton that she found out that the doctor who had been hacking into her computer was known as Adam in Houghton.
