Felix sat on the wooden chair and watched Karissa bringing some milk and bread and the left over donuts for them to eat.
"You should have informed me before that you were alone. I would have joined you" he cheekily held her hand and made her sit next to him.
It was rare for them to stay alone like this. Karissa's parents never left her alone. She could only sneak out when Ava was with her because her parents had full faith in Ava and would never doubt her.
"No need... I don't want to bother my beauty sleep" she poured some milk for him into the glass and passed the bread to eat.
Karissa had brilliantly lied to him about the voices he heard when he sneaked to her room was not something her could let unnoticed. He was still not convince that it was a cat who was roaming inside her room because the voice was just like someone chanting something.
After lying him that she sleep talk in her sleep that time he stopped pestering her.
