As a pampered princess, her mother had a hard time living on her own and figuring out what to do in order to live. Princess Melissa explained in her entries that she had an idea of how to do things. But her mother had a problem executing it.
There were a few people who helped her at first. But Princess Melissa also wrote in her diary that she still has to be cautious with her situation. Although she was removed as a royal princess, the crime of assassinating her Imperial Brother was still sticking to her name. The princess was aware those people who framed her will not easily stop until one of them died.
