Leaving In right Hands

The time has come where most of your hardworking of training has shown its worthiness. You've now graduated as a certified and professionally trained kunoichi (female shinobi) under your Usui Clan and with the blessing of your trainer none other than your father Hattori Hanzo, one of the most respected shinobi of Usui Clan. And yes, you were having a deep sense of proudness pounding with each breath that for a second you forgot that where you're right now is all because of your hardworking and great shinobi who trained you...your father.

"my daughter, that you've grown up to be a strong, beautiful and bold kunoichi, remember one thing of all..-" as you're father spoke you interrupted him in middle and told the continuation of lines he was repeating once again since you were 8, " never forget the iron code...i got it, father. I will not let you down." and with that you held your chin up followed by your left hand on the grip of katana which was sheated, dangerously ready to rain blood.

you both went inside the palace where you reside and stood in front of your father who was looking down at you with great pride.it was at dawn, and till midnight you were to leave for Ashina for your future lord to which you will be soon be serving to.

you were light, fragile, and small but dangerously you represented a knife, dagger, a needle... small and easy to hold but could harm if hold in a manner of threat. these were one of the reason's your father was concern about you're future lord on who you are going to serve or stay obedient to, he was scared to leave you...scared if he made a mistake to that instead of removing the thorns from the rose he sharpened them and made a killing machine out of it. but he didn't hesitate to adore your features, how much you represented your mother who was surprisingly a kunoichi. he did admit that he carved a man out of you and he didn't regret it.

"Father, thank you for everything...." you knelt with your right knee up to your right arm which you rested on that knee..and bowed to your father...one last time.

he held your shoulder's and bent to come similarly your height. " my daughter, have this as my offer to you, who knows if destiny will bring us alive again or not but this will be with you for a long time...just in case this great shinobi Hattori be defeated..may you find what is the purpose and never forgot the purpose for why you draw your blade..."

your father's words echoed your ears as your eyes were still looking at the ground with respect and honor .as you looked up the wide hand of your father rested on your lithe palms. a shiny small buddha statue resembling a parent's love to its child covered in pink silk. You will never forget those wise words, you never did, but those words were something else that made a permanent base in your head as if glued tight making sure no matter what, these words are not going to fall.

you stared at the statue for a long time when father rose to his feet again and reminded you of your journey to Ashina, to meet your lord...lord Genichiro Ashina the grandson of the daimyo Isshin Ashina.

the trees withered away as the spring was on his way, blooming the sakura trees and fragmenting them with an enchanting smell. you stood outside there still, stiff. the night has fallen and it's time to bid farewell to father. " thank you father.", you gave your final goodbye words before turning and vanishing into the thin mist of cold and lush green forest to carve your path. " may the best of your fate be y/n, I've done what I must do. my job here is done..whatever and wherever your destiny leads you....be better for you. walk tall my daughter."

it was late night and there was a hundred percent guarantee that beasts lurked the lands during these times as the nights are long and perilous. wild beasts, you have to be careful of each step you take and your decisions. As you walked through the cold land full of deep trees and mist all over, father's word unexpectedly trailed between your mind -," my daughter, the humanity is divided into two types, just like heaven and hell hereafter. during your journey, you will meet both of them...hell and heaven, but it is upon you to decide what is hell and what is heaven.."

your deep thoughts were interrupted when you heard a crack of a small twig being broken into two from the bushes. your gaze looked towards the sound of creepiness and the grip on your katana got a hint a bit tighter, ready for slashing anything that might come up unexpectedly.

wolves. starving wolves staring the prey who is you but that was your guess.

when you turned around you were surprised to find a man with a wheatish-orange coat with a scarf around his neck but without a hand? you were curious, the man had a katana and looked kind of wanting revenge and dangerously handsome.

he looked you with the same surprised look.

" what are doing here alone in this abandoned place?", he asked you in a more demanding and straightway as if he owns this place and knows every inch of it.

" well, you first and I will be next." you made a firm announcement looking absurdly with your hands folded and one brow up.

"I am here because I have a task to do and I don't like people who act tough but they aren't. it doesn't suit them." he spat words out of his mouth without having mercy. it felt as if somebody just backstabbed you and nerves of yours popped out of anger and you came towards him rushing with a stomping sound.

"excuse me Mr 'calling me a stubborn' please introduce yourself and yes I am here with a task too.", wondering what in the hells would be his name he turned around and was about to leave ignoring your question but grabbing his arm you pulled him back and asked him again when he flinched with you touching him. you cared shit about his feeling when you harshly pulled him towards you with anger.

"tell me your name " you demanded him again not letting go of his prosthetic arm sympathetically attached to him.

"sekiro...my name is sekiro r and I don't like to hurt women but I also don't like it when someone forces me to open my mouth especially when they use their hands.." he roughly spoke looking straight to down your eyes. he was expressionless when he spoke

even though he kept ordering you to leave his arm and him alone, you were still curious. you both looked as if a rice grain was kept beside a big mountain and in this case, the mountain was him and the rice grain was you.

" my name is y/n and yes of course! I don't like people when they ignore me and comment on the way I talk and my actions", you frankly cloned his way of speaking which made him groan frustratingly. you were annoying the shit out of him.

the man wondered what in the pure gods he has done or did wrong that he deserves to be annoyed like this. he hissed and jerked his hand out of yours and cracked his neck both his sides.

"okay good, then i must leave. i am not that fond of chitter chatter and it would be better if you leave this place too. there are hungry wolves around here ready to eat you and me if we keep standing here, they will take every granted opportunity. slightest mistake and you will be gravely injured...don't know about me,i will be fine but well you.." he looks down to your waist where your katana settled and was surprised to find it resting there. as a man,it was very rare to see a women who can draw sword who are, which let alone are said to lay unconscious of just seeing a drop of blood.

"wait, you draw a blade or is it somebody else's your carrying?",the words of him weren't harsh but it hurted you. not the way you were a feminist or someone who supported women drawing a blade but the practice of women drawing a blade in some clans (not the majority) tends to say that the women who draws or drew a blade, trains of becoming a samurai are said to forget their standereds, are said that they are not loyal to their husbands.

you shook your head trying to forget these objections on women and replied sekiro, " yes i do." you said while resting your grip on katana, still eyes focused on the prosthic arm of the man next to you.

"alright y/n,then i guess i should leave now. farewe-", as he was about to say a bye you stopped him again at his tracks which made him hiss in annoyance. " now what lady?",still keeping a calm, gentle touch in his tone.

"where are you off too?"

"Ashina Castle."
