TWINNING

Zeva walked towards the little girl grabbing another towel, and crouched in front of her to reach her height, and said, "Come, let me dry your hairs."

Lia quietly complied, as Zeva dried her hairs properly, and then wiped off the wetness from her face and hands.

She then picked up the little girl and had her sited on the bed and then walked towards the wardrove. "What do you wish to wear today?" Zeva said as she looked in at the whole lot of clothes that they had brought last day when they went for shopping.

"This?" Zeva asked as she pulled out a pink fluffy dress and showed it to Lia. Lia looked at it, and then shook her head denying and said, "No! I don't feel like wearing this colour today."

Zeva nodded then looked in and pulled out another dress. It was a cute top and skirt with yellow and white check print.

"This one?" Zeva asked again.

Lia looked at the dress and shook her head with a pout. " I don't wish on wearing a skirt."

"Okay.." Zeva said again and looked for something else again. Then she took out a demin shorts, and white shirt for her. And Lia again denied wearing it.

Frustrated, Zeva turned towards the little girl and folded her hands saying, "What is this behaviour, Lia? Why do you not want to wear anything? All these dresses are pretty enough. And you said you liked it back in the store. If you did not like it, you could have told. I would have not bought it."

Lia looked at Zeva with big, puppy eyes and said, "I never said that that I don't like them."

"Then why do you not want to wear any of these?" Zeva asked with a sigh.

Lia looked down an said, "I want to wear a white flower dress."

On hearing her, Zeva blinked and said, "Oh." She then nodded and searched for a white flowery dress.

Then Lia averted her gaze and said, "And white socks."

"Alright." Zeva turned around again, complying to her wish, but then she stopped and blinked. She then slowly turned behind with a small smile on her face and saw Lia trying to look away.

Zeva chuckled and said, "Lia…?"

"Yes." Lia answered curtly.

"Do you want to twin with me?" Zeva asked with a smile to which Lia looked 'surprised' and she said, "What? Uh? No! I just wanted to wear white flowery dress today, that's it! It is just a coincidence that you are wearing it too."

Saying so, she hurriedly moved her face away, not wanting to meet eyes with Zeva.

Zeva chuckled and then turned back, looking for the white socks. And she said, "You know, you don't have to be shy if you want to do twinning with me. In fact, I would be happy to do so."

When Lia heard that, she lowered her head and looked around. Lia had pursed her lips and her cheeks had turned pink in embarrassment.

Zeva then brought the pretty white floral dress to Lia. The dress had a lot of similarities with the one Zeva was wearing herself. Zeva then decided not to tease her anymore, and dressed the little girl prettily. She then made two pigtails at the sides of her head. And the adorned with with prettily while flower and pearl clips.

And then after dolling her a little more, she looked at her satisfactorily and said, putting her hands on her waist, "Hm! Perfect! Now you look like an angel straight out of a fairytale story book."

Lia too inspected her in the mirror, left, right, front and back. And then gave Zeva a big cute smile. Zeva then held Lia's hand and said, "Let's go?" To which the little girl nodded her head.

When they reached the Greendale University, she saw that there was already a lot of people who had come along with their friends or families for the admission. And she also went towards the registration office. As there was a long queue, and her turn was yet to come, she and Lia sat down at the waiting hall outside the office.

Zeva noticed how a lot of eyes and gazes were upon her, and she chose to ignore it. Oh, come on, she was now almost habituated with this.

And Lia too felt the looks upon her too. Though, she also received a lot of looks here and there because of her cuteness, yet at times like this when too many people are looking at her, she would turn a little flustered.

Oh, Okay! I know I am cute. You may call me an epitome of cuteness. But now stop looking at me like this~

Lia thought in her mind.

After they sat on a free chairs side by side, Zeva took the small bunny backpack that Lia carried on her back. It had a water bottle and a few snacks. She then asked the little girl, "Are you hungry?"

Lia pouted and thought for a moment, whether she should tell yes or no, before she nodded her head and said, "A little."

Zeva smiled at her, and gave her a packet of snacks to eat, and told her to tell her if she needed something. Lia nodded as she happily started munching on her chocolate sticks.

Zeva looked at her and smiled. Though, she was her system, and a very intelligent being. But Zeva always saw her as a small kid first. And she decided to make sure that she ate and slept properly. And that she would do everything she can, so the little on doesn't feel any problem living with her. After all, deep inside, Zeva was really grateful that Lia saved her life, gave her a chance to do much better, no matter if they will succeed or not. But the most important thing was that, Zeva was not lonely any more.
