Those were all the questions going through my mind as we had dinner together. Everyone seemed to be caught up in a lively conversation whilst I just sat there, drugged up and miserable.
I regretted my choice of becoming a vege-meterian because Benedito and Ma took it very seriously by prepping a salad for me. I always saw Benedito eat these and I did to, just with lots of meat but now to have no meat at all was a bit wild. The plate looked like something I gave to Lettie as a snack.
I had already lost so much weight, with this diet I was probably going to evaporate at this rate.
"Meu coração, why aren't you eating?" Benedito raised his eyebrow before he looked back down to his steak to cut a piece. For one hopeful moment I thought he had cut a piece for me but he put the block in his mouth as he smiled.
