AZAR POV
As I strolled out of Ivan's castle, frustration and anger gnawed at me. Things hadn't gone as planned, not at all the way I wanted. They were all fools, the whole lot of them! My half brother, with his conniving ways, had outmaneuvered me once again.
I clenched my fists, my jaw tight with anger as I made my way through the castle grounds. The sun was setting, casting a golden hue over the ancient stones and lush gardens. But I paid no heed to the beauty around me, my mind consumed with thoughts of revenge.
I vowed to myself that I would not let this betrayal go unpunished. I would show them all that I was not to be trifled with, that I was a force to be reckoned with.
How dare they mock me like that? Laughed in my face while saying empty threats? I thought to myself feeling the rage starting to consume me.
But what hurt the most was Arianne's betrayal.
