He wasn't a male model but he should have been. The lush, mother lode -dark hair he groomed so carefully had a ripping quality, a sign of his rude health. His only blemish was that he was beetle- browed and they sometimes knitted in frustration.
The Aquiline nose he sported complemented his prominent cheekbones. Handsome in an understated way, his basalt jaw and Spartan shoulders spoke of strength. He possessed latent, leonine power and always walled with purpose and authority.
"Get the car" he ordered, Mario his personal Assistant, who dashed out of the gigantic gold wide doors of the house.
People had always remarked that his best feature was his entrancing, way farer -blue eyes. Sloe -shaped, they could shine as bright as the evening stars when they were a light with joy. At other times, two liquid -blue pools of flashing fires . It was well-known in the vicinity that the Godfather had a short temper which was not good for any one around.
From the pocket of his Stuart Hughes diamond edition, he brought out a white handkerchief and mopped the sweats that beamed on his face.
He glared in to the mirror. Nicholas took a close look at his favorite suit. The diamonds on it sparkled gray and white when he was inside and outside the gem, it will reflect rainbow colour on to the surfaces.
Just when he was about to go out of the house, a maid ran to where he was and knelt before him.
In her hands were his Hallucination wrist watch that caused him more than fifty millions dollars. It's featured hundred and ten carats of diamonds in a variety of colors, all set in a platinum bracelet.
To Nicholas, his watches were important to complete the dressing of the day. Taking the watch from her, he looked at the time. It's was Ten, thirty in the morning. He was supposed to be at work before eight o'clock. This was unlike him.
"Thank you" was the only word he uttered to her.
Outside the house, a white Bugatti La Voiture Noire was parked in front with three black Lykan Hypersport cars. Six body guards stood besides the white car waiting for him.
"Impressive" Nicholas muttered to himself. He did not have to tell them what to do today. There was no time for giving out instruction since he was late for work. Quickly, he walked to where the car was parked and the guard opened the door.
He sat and wished for faster but safe ride to office.
After twenty minutes of drive, the cars skipped to a halt in front of a very tall multistoried building, which had a name tag : The Genovese Company.
The men came out of the car immediately and opened the door for him. His manager, an average height man in his thirties, was waiting along side with two other staffs of the company.
"Welcome, Mr. Nicholas," He said as soon as his boss came out of the car.
Nicholas responded and changed the topic "How many board meetings do I have?"
"Just one in total, sir," The man began to half run after him. He could not put on with Nicholas walking faster. When they got into the building, the workers tried their best not to laugh.
Running after Nicholas, happens every morning. They greeted him and he looked at them. Every thing looked perfect. Luciano must have handle everything as soon as he came.
Stepping into the elevator, Nicholas checked the time again. He did not check on his father this morning, which was very wrong. Even though told him, the new caretaker arrived early to take care of his father, he was still worried.
"Where is Luciano?" he asked Mr. Mario who was constantly going through the papers in his hand.
The older man looked up, wondering the last time he saw Luciano "He should be in his office."
Nicholas nodded. When the door, he walked straight to the door that led to his office. Luciano will contact him as soon as he hears that he was in the office.
"Send all the files to my secretary immediately" he said as they walked in to his office.
In the big room of the office was a ergonomic office chair which was positioned closed the window.
In front of his table were two executive black leather chair. At the left side of his office was an adjourning parlour.
"Tell the investors that I will be with them shortly. Also Mario, cancel the board meeting."
"Yes sir" He answered, as he watched the young master go through one of the files on his desk. Mario was praying that he doesn't find any error in the files. Sir Nicholas was already angry and it won't take much time for him to explode.
There was a second door at the right side of the room. It had a transparent walls that anyone could see what was going on there. Nicholas tilted his head to see if the chair was occupied but its was empty.
"Where the hell is Zoe?" He frowned throwing the files on the floor.
