I looked down at myself. There was a wall length mirror in front of me and the woman who had been styling my hair finally steps away. I was dressed in oversized printed chambray bowling shirt tucked into dark blue pants and a a dark red coat, so dark it looked black. My blue hair was styled off my face in a side patten.

"You look so good." The hair stylist said and I don't even have the words to reply her. I just couldn't stop looking at my reflection in the mirror.

There was a sharp knock on the door and Hal walked in. The hair stylist quickly walks out, leaving the two of us. Hal looked so good. He looked so fudging good. He was decked out in an all black three piece suit, shiny shoe and a diamond studded watch, his hair styled in a c-curl. He had a large brown coat on and I couldn't look away from him.

Hal hadn't looked away from me.

His eyes had gone dark and he looked like he was about to eat me. Like he couldn't look away from me. It made my cheeks beat up and I just stared at him with a shy smile on my face.

"My darling you look so gorgeous. So beautiful." Hal said and I giggled. He finally walks closer to me and takes my hand in his, his eyes still going over my clothes and my face. "I am going to be the envy of everybody in that building."

"I think that's going to be me, H. You look so handsome."

Hal smiled down at me, leaning closer until the distance between our lips was closed and our lips were pressed together. Hal cups my cheeks as we kissed and I settled my hands on his waist tightly as I kissed back just as softly.

We pulled apart a couple minutes later and I just couldn't stop smiling. I didn't even want to stop smiling. This man is mine everyone. I won't let anyone tell me or convince me otherwise.

"Should we get going? We are past fashionably late at this point." Hal said and I nodded. I slipped my hand into his and together we walked out of the house. I don't even remember the last time I had gone home at this point. I just loved staying here all the time.

The stylists and others were already gone and Prez was waiting outside, standing beside a white Bentley. He was dressed in a fitte suit and his hair was shaved closed to his head.

Prez tipped his imaginary hat at us, earning a burst of laughter from me before heading into the driver's seat. Like always, Hal opens my door for me and I got in. He goes over to the other side of the car and got in.

Like every time, I chose the music we listen to on the drive. This time I kept th entire Fine Line by Harry Styles on shuffle and Golden comes on. I loved that song. It always made me want to dance.

This was my first official outing with Hal. His PR team were so fast paced and quick that I haven't seen any gossip blog or news papers talk about our relationship with him. It stuck to his business and that was it. But tonight was going to be official, we would be papped together and there would be news about us but Hal assures me that it would go back to how it usually is after tomorrow and I'd have the right to veto what article I wanted out.

This official outing was to a charity ball held by the sweltering planet. I had done my research on all of them and I just fell in love with them. The beach sweeping and the animal saving. It was truly incredible and it made me so proud to know this was one of Hal's favorite charities.

Hal's hand settled on my thigh and he smiles over at me. I felt like Cinderella, only I have no gown and I already have my prince.

"I love your smile." Hal said and I let out another giggle. I loved when Hal got mushy, it made me feel all warm and gooey inside. He's always on a straight face at work and it warms me to know he's always this smiley and mushy with me.

"I love how cheesy you are."

"You bring it out of me, darling." Hal said and I shook my head at him fondly. I placed my head on his shoulder, my nose pressed into Hal's coat.

"What can I say? I'm good influence." I said with a soft chuckle and he squeezed my thigh again. It was comfortable and silent and Harry Styles was crooning about Falling.

Hal slid his hand down my thigh and closer to my hand, intertwining them and lifting it to his lips. He pepper kisses all over them and I just smile. This man has got my heart.

Who was I kidding when i said I'd soon fall in love with him.

I am already in love with him. And I'm falling more and more everyday.

I don't feel freightened at this realization, if anything I felt oddly calm and just happy. I didn't need anything else. I had lost my family but I had gained one at the store with Charles and Stanley and a friend in Jimmy and Jeff, a best friend Danny and found Hal. My knight.

I might have lost but I've got so much more in return.

"You're quiet."

"I'm happy." I replied and Hal squeezed my fingers again. By the time we got to the hotel the charity event was taking place, we were listening to the last song from the album.

There were a lot of flashing lights outside. Hal stepped out of the car first and then walked over to my side of the door. He pulls it open and I take a deep breath. He smiles widely at me and gave out his hand. I don't hesitate to place my hand in his and got out of the car.

Hal slid an arm around my waist and I looked up at him. With Hal by my side the flashing lights looked dull. They were choruses of words but I don't hear them as we walked the carpet. I alternate between looking at Hal and at the door while hoping I don't trip.

"I've got a joke." Hal said as we walked. "Knock knock."

"Who's there?"

"An Hal." He said and I hold back a snort.

"An Hal who?"

"An Hal who thinks you are so beautiful."

It startled a laugh at me and I moved closer, pressing my nose into his coat again. This man was so silly. My boyfriend was a silly man. The cameras went bonkers as we laughed and cuddled even closer as we walked the remaining short distance to the door.

The hotel we were at was The Silton. For star everything and I was so excited and I knewHal could sense it. The carpet led all the way to the event hall, there were a lot of people and celebrities talking and chatting, a handful of photographers and reporters taking pictures and conducting interviews.

They all call out to Hal but he only gives them a wave while I just smile. The event hall was big and so tall, there were chandeliers, there were round tables spread out with a gold cloth over it with a big red ribbon, there were six plates spread out with cutlery by its side, waiters with trays holding up flutes of bubbly champagne.

The walls looked painted gold and the curtains were dark red and everything looked beautiful. There was even a large space at the front of the room and all I wanted to do was dance with Hal. Someone takes our coat from I and Hal.

Hal leads me to a table and pulled out the seat for me. I sat down and continued to stare. I couldn't believe it. It was so pretty and I couldn't even. Everyone was dressed like a dream, shiny jewelry and velvet dresses, tall heels, fitted suits and pants and so many hairstyles.

There was music being played at the grand piano and there was a nicely dressed woman playing a harp. It felt like a dream.

"You're glowing." Hal said as he sits beside me.

I couldn't hold back my smile and I reached for his hand, intertwining our fingers together.

"It feels like a dream." I said and looked down at our hands.

"You look like you stepped out of my dreams." Hal said and I feel my cheeks go warm.

"I can not believe I just heard those words coming out of your mouth. If I hadn't seen your lips moved I would have thought I was hallucinating." A voice said behind us and I turn.

Hal was already getting off the seat and there he was. Salt and pepper hair, trimmed beard, glasses with a clear frame and fitted suit.

"Anthony." Hal said, shaking Anthony's hand, the two of them pulled in for a brief hug. Hal has a small smile on his face while Anthony looked like he just found treasure.

"Long time no see Hal Janvier."

Hal nods. He looks over at me and holds his hand out to me. I take it and pull myself off the seat, his hands instantly sliding around my waist.

"And who is this lovely angel?"

"Jesse. Jesse Morris." I replied, a bit shyly. Anthony takes a hold of my hand and pulls it up to his lips but before he could kiss my skin, Hal covered my hand with his.

"Back off Anthony."

I felt my heart swell to twice it's size and all I want to do was kiss Hal. So I did. I leaned up and pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"You lucky son of a bitch."

"I know." Hal said with a smile, turning to press a kiss to my hair. Hal introduces me to a couple more people and I kept hearing the same thing. How handsome we both were, how happy they were to see Hal with someone.

"You never came to these things with a date?" I asked Hal when we were finally seated again and the bidding began.

"Nope." He simply said.

"Why me though?" I asked him.

"You are my special boy." Hal said like it was that simple and that was it. Food was served and the bidding was going, different prizes, different prices. Hal doesn't bid on anything and though I liked the items brought up but I want anything.

The bidding ends and a very important looking elderly lady gives a moving speech that gets a standing ovation. After that, it's just music and more talking. So I finally asked.

"I want to dance with you." I said to Hal.

Hal winks at me. "I've been waiting for you to ask." He said. He gets up first and helps me out of my seat. I slipped my hand around his elbow and held on as we walked to the dance floor. There were only two couples moving but the only person I was focused on was Hal.

I slipped my arms around his shoulders, Hal's arms wrapped tight around my waist and he pulls me even closer. Our jackets had been abandoned earlier, so we were free, loose and with the amount of champagne I had taken, bubbly and giggly.

I was so in love with everything.

I was so in love with Hal.

The harps made everything seem magical and I could feel the soft sound of the piano with every breath I took. I looked up at Hal and I stick my tongue out to him. Hal chuckles and I do it again and again until he leans close and kisses me until my head goes quiet.

I kissed back just as softly, the two of us swaying to the music and I was just happy.

Happy.
