Chapter 5: The Big Fight!(Shikai’s Return)
Shikai than looks around and see's Kirisaki standing right besides him crying, she than notices he's awake and than hugs him for a good couple of seconds than says,
"I was so worried about you! If you were to die I wouldn't be able to forgive myself...."'
Shikai than pats her hair,
"There There, I'm okay now, but what time is it?"
"5:45, a girl with blond long hair called the ambulance to save you, but the most surprising thing is that the wound healed up very quickly, it was almost like magic!"
Shikai thinks to himself, "Kiko had long blond hair too....is it possible.."
He than looks up at Kirisaki and asks,
"Did she give a name and number? I wanna contact her and thank her." Shikai says,
"Yeah, Her number is 893-12921-94210 and Her Name Is Kiko." Kirisaki says.
Shikai than looks in excitement, He runs out the Hospital Room with his cloths and phone.
"Wait Shikai!" Kirisaki says,
"I'll see you later! But right now I have something to do!" Shikais says.
He than runs down to the next floor than runs into a empty room and jumps out the window, Shikai than thought to himself, "Will I really not die if I do this?" He was jumping from the 7th floor so the chances of surviving would be 10%, that is, if you're a normal human, Shikai being a hybrid means he has more features than a normal angel and demon, he could easily jump from the 7th floor without any problems.
As he lands his jump he also notices the change and dials it into his mind, he than goes on a search for Kiko, he try's to sense for her aura and no luck, but he does however sense a very powerful aura that he has never seen before, the powerful aura is quite far though so shikai thinks to himself he should be completely fine if he has to fight the powerful being, he now starts running towards it.
"Woah, such high energy I hope it's kiko!" Shikai says, as he approaches the location he starts to see that there is a....fire! But there was no smoke in the air so now shikai is confused, than somebody starts walking up to him,
"So you noticed the fire I've made huh." A random teenager says,
"Yeah, who the hell are you?" Shikai replies
"The names Mark, nice to meet you stranger, but I can't allow you to live any longer considering you've witnessed me use my powers." Mark says, he than starts firing fire balls towards Shikai.
Shikai than tries to tap into his 4th aura stage but it's not working for some reason,
"This isn't good at all, how the hell am I gonna beat him if I can't even create a measly sword to combat him?" Shikai thinks to himself giving off a worried expression while trying to dodge the fireballs,
"Guess I gotta turn it up a notch." Mark says
"What could be worser than this?!?!" Shikai replies
"You'll see my friend" Mark says, he than holds his hand while Shikai looks in confusion, he than lets off a huge burst off fire into the air and than Shikai knows he might be done for,
"It's no way I can dodge that! I might actually be done for....Wait! I could just enter the 3rd stage, although kiko didn't recommend it to me, I have no choice! But I just realized I've never actually entered the 3rd or even the 2nd stage so this might be a challenge...." Shikai thinks to himself, he than try's clearing his mind and that allows his first aura to activate, Mark than says "Oh so you have a similar power to me huh? That's nice but do you know how to use it is the question!"
He than let's off a huge burst of fire towards shikai, shikai than dodges it but he nearly got burned to the point where it wouldn't recover, if Mark gets anymore reckless Shikai would be at risk off having 3rd degree burns or even worse 4th degree, Shikai knows this and cautious that he could undergo serious injuries even worser than that so he know he has to keep trying to tap into his 4th stage. Eventually, after a few more dodges he reaches his 2nd stage.
"If I wanna win this I have to take a more offensive approach, if I continue to dodge I'll be certain to lose and I can't have that happening." Shikai thinks to himself.
"Enough!" Shikai yells out while jumping into the air, he than charges up a orb in his hand that's at least as big as a bouncy ball and than he fires off a beam at Mark, Mark is surprised at first but when you're a trained fighter like him you would focus on keeping your head on instead of the opponents attack.
Mark than dodges and says, "Nice attack, you finally decided to go on the offensive but don't think I'll allow you to survive just because you fought back!" He than charges up a fire beam in both of his hands, "I call this Fire Burst Spirit!" He than fires the blast and at first Shikai thought it was just gonna be a full on blast, but this time the blast is actually...2 separate blasts! Shikai trys to run away from it but this time it's tracking him, he decides to shoot a blast back at it but than they curve it.
"Haha, so I see you tried to shoot a blast at my fire, but as you can see I'm controlling them so it's impossible for you to even get a little orb to hit them." Mark says looking confident that shikai wouldn't be able to outrun them.
Shikai than gets a idea, he starts running towards Mark and at first Mark is confused at first, he than notices what Shikai is trying to do and than says, "Haha! That's the most basic strat you can do! I could easily just fire off a couple more fire balls at you!" He than starts firing fireballs at Shikai and Shikai has no choice but to take 3 of them to the chest, leg, and also neck.
"AHHHHHHHH! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS BRAT!" Shikai yells out, He than starts to power up his aura, pushing him to the 3rd stage.
"What is this violent energy? Impossible...could you be?" Mark says in a nervous tone.
Shikai than looks up at him with a horn and red eyes and yells, "SHUT UP, YOU SHOULD'VE NEVER DONE THAT!" He than fires a red beam from his mouth at Mark, Mark attempts to dodge but it is moving faster than he can run and he ends up taking severe damage from the neck down meaning that he can't walk nor use his powers, Shikai than walks up to him and says.
"It's been a good fight, but now it's time for you to rest, in, ASHES!" Shikai yells while charging up a beam, than Shikai suddenly hears voices, from what he can hear there is 3 Males and 3 Females, and he also senses magic energy from them, he knows this isn't good at all.
"Make a sound and you're dead a long with those people." Shikai whispers to Mark, He than looks at a abandoned building near them and runs over to it, they than head inside and go to a floor where they can see the strange group.
"Who are they?" Shikai asks looking in confusion.
"My gang, they were out getting food while me and you were fighting, they're similar to us but I think you already tell." Mark replies.
"Ah great, more trouble for me and I just got out the hospital, now I'm gonna need you to do me a favor, would I be better off fighting them or escaping?" Shikai says.
"I would recommend escaping, I'm not so sure about your abilities but I know there's and although I'm the second best in the group all of them know how to use their powers well, that's all I'm saying for now though you idiot." Mark replies looking fed up with shikai.
"Where the hell is Mark? He wanted to stay here and now he's gone!" Yells out one of the gang members
"Chill out Yakozu he probably went to go do some "serious business" haha!" Says another gang member, the whole group than starts laughing and Mark starts shaking his head.
"Well I'm leaving now, I probably shouldn't stay here any longer or else things might get worser, cya Mark, I'm looking forward to are next fight."Shikai says while smiling but suddenly Shikai feels a negative vibe, it was almost like his gut was telling him to get out there immediately!
Shikai grabs Mark and at first Mark is confused on why Shikai is grabbing him but than as they jump out of the window leading to the outside the building starts exploding floor by floor, Both Shikai and Mark are surprised by this and Mark yells out, "RUN!" And Shikai runs for his life as he hears a male say "Did they already exit the building?".
Shikai tells Mark to explain what just happened and Mark says, "Since it's clear they don't care for even my life I will explain to you what happened, basically, one of them manipulate their aura for bombs and if you're thinking in your head right now so the bombs were already set there? Yes, They were, at least I believe, I'm not so sure myself to be completely honest but at the moment he doesn't know how to make things go boom boom with a orb so that's good."
"This is really bad, let's say he actually does know how to make bombs with his orbs or I guess we can call them explosive orbs, what do we do than?" Shikai says in a shaky tone while they're running.
"Well, he's ranked first in are group, and unlike me he was born a pure angel but you can consider him a fallen Angel now since he ended up on earth and does bad things, but let's say he can do that, we will be very much f**ked considering he also has Angel wings and can fly, wait stop here!" Mark says and makes shikai stop at a old abandoned looking apartment building.
"What is here? Looks like another abandoned building to me." Shikai says very confused.
"It's my old apartment building that my family lived in, we're pretty rich so we own the whole building and I came back recently to live here, the gang doesn't know that though so we're fine here." Mark says.
Shikai than takes a deep breathe than heads inside the building, at first glance it looks horrible from the outside but it's not actually so bad on the inside, it's actually really nice! Shikai than is amazed and asks Mark how rich is his family, Mark replies and says, "I believe we have, what 2 Billion Dollars?" and Shikai jaws drop just hearing it.
Mark Shows Shikai around and shows him where he can shower, eat, and sleep at since it's gonna be awhile before they can go out on the outside since it's one of those days where the gang has meetings and invites the associates over for business, Shikai than says "But I have school tomorrow, it's only my second day!", Mark than tells him he'll probably be able to get out of here for school but for now he should stay and shikai agrees, but than as Shikai starts settling in Mark approaches him and says, "Now, since you're living in my hotel you're gonna have to answer a few questions."
"Fine, what do you want to hear?" Shikai replies.
"Are you a....demon?" Mark says giving off a fearful face.
"Well you're half right, i'm a hybrid you see, meaning i'm both a angel and a demon, you're actually lucky i had control of myself in that fight, back when i first awakened my powers i went on a rampage that could of potentially destroyed this whole city or even planet as a whole." Shikai replies, Mark than has a surprised look on his face but than he asked his next question,
"This is gonna be my last question for you before I go cook us up some food, are you aware of how to add elements to your power?" He says with a curious look
"Not at all, I honestly just learned today on how to maintain my powers or what my master referred to as "aura", when did you learn your powers tho?" Shikai replies
"I learned my power at birth and due to my power people called me weird, I didn't know how to control it much at first either, since I didn't have anybody to teach me how to maintain my power I had to learn my self and experiment, so everyday after school I would head over to the grasslands near my families mansion and train, to let you know, there is more than just aura when it comes to this strange world." Mark tells shikai with a serious look
"Wait really? My master only told me about aura, I wonder if she knew about the other ones as well..." Shikai replies thinking if kiko knew about elemental powers
"Yes, I noticed in are battles that you depended on your aura more than the other systems, I however only know 2 systems, and that's aura and elemental magic, elemental magic is when you use elements and combine them with your aura making you and that element become one with each other but don't think it's easy, in order for you to become one with said element you must train your hardest, you have to push your limits and if you want better control of your element I recommend training in the environment of this element, for example, fire, I poured my aura into the fire everyday, I meditated into the fire everyday, I trained my aura around fire everyda- Wait are you sleeping?!?!" Mark says loudly
"Wait huh? My bad! I was just closing my eyes for a few seconds but continue!" Shikai replies with a smile on his face
"Eh nvm, but anyways like I was saying, I trained everyday all the way till one day I could finally make a fireball up in my hand, than the rest was history, I'll get to go making the food though, don't fall asleep!" Mark says as he leaves the room
"I won't! Maybe.." Shikai yells
Shikai than thinks to himself about the gang, they definitely won't overlook Mark or Shikais disappearance and it's odd enough they knew where they were, is it possible one of them has the power to detect others? Or did they sense shikais menacing aura? But Shikai was concealing his aura so that would be physically impossible...unless if he was being setup...
Shikai than has a shocked look on his face, "is it possible they're actually setting me up? I don't sense anybody around at the moment so i think I'm fine for now but is it possible..."
