By morning, Raf could not take the waiting game anymore. The detective persuaded him to stay the entire night, hoping that the kidnappers would still demand a ransom, but nobody did call.
Raf figured that since the family of Sabrina was already in the house, they did not need his presence anymore. One of them could answer the call if someone did. They could update him if new information came up.
But at the moment, he doubted that anybody would be demanding a ransom. He was starting to believe that this was something else. Somebody hired those men to take Sabrina for another reason. He had one reason that came to mind, and it did not involve money.
He was not helping Sabrina by sitting and doing nothing. He needed to do something about this. His uncle already called earlier, but he still had no lead on the case.
