Scarlet point of view
I walked quietly along the back of House Evius, my steps crunching softly against the gravel path. Ruffa had mentioned a peaceful spot hidden behind our house—a place where I could finally find some solitude. I didn't often trust rumors, but today, I desperately needed a moment of peace.
The air grew cooler as I ventured further, the towering trees casting long shadows that danced in the breeze. The chatter of students faded into the distance, replaced by the gentle rustle of leaves. It was a welcome change from the chaos that seemed to follow me everywhere lately.
Soon, I spotted a small clearing surrounded by a semicircle of ancient trees. A stream flowed gently through the center, its water sparkling in the sunlight that peeked through the canopy. The place was quiet, untouched, and oddly calming.
