"Kerou, don't be silly." The smile on Mu Donglin's face faded as he looked at her seriously. "I have no chance of surviving. Even if you continued to watch over me, you'd only be watching over a dead body."

Lin Kerou shuddered as if she had received a huge blow.

After looking at Mu Donglin for a long time, Lin Kerou smiled sadly. Her face was pale and her thin figure looked as though it could easily be blown away in the wind. She said, "I'm willing to guard this dead body. Mu Donglin, don't even think about getting rid of me in this lifetime, not even the next lifetime, or the one after."

Mu Donglin felt a sense of suffocation as he looked at the bewitched little woman standing before him. It was an uncomfortable feeling.

Mu Donglin knew better than anyone, Lin Kerou loved him.
