Following a fast-moving car while moving through the darkness and jumping from the roof of tall buildings, is not my kind of thing. But I would say that this kind of experience is making me feel a bit excited.

It's like one of those movies I have seen before where the hero would jump from one building to another just to chase after an evil man's car.

And right now, I am going to treat that person that I am following as the evil man.

The only difference between me and in the movies is that I will not try to stop the bad guy. Instead, I will use him to lead me to their base.

And so I began to run as fast as I could while also checking the ruins in the area.

I soon found out that the closer I get to the center of the city, the more lookout points I have noticed. Luckily my speed is fast enough to be able to dodge the sight of those people.

I did not hear them reporting something so, I think they have not seen me. At this time, I truly wanted to act and at least take down some of the sentries. This is because; the people in these buildings are beasts. I could hear evil laughter from these people as they toy on human lives.

Men beg for mercy to be kept alive, women beg not to be violated, and even children's cries could be heard.

I wanted to stop and then help them. However, I have a far more important mission, and that is to follow that bastard to the real base of my enemy.

Suddenly, as I pass by a large truck and a long line of trucks coming towards an entrance of a base, I pick up some people talking.

And their conversation made my heart jump in anxiety.

"Hey, are you guys hunting tonight in the outer parts of the city?"

"Yeah, we are going to get four beauties that were seen in the outer part of the city. Some of the mercenary groups fell in their hands and they now requested aid from the Hunters. So we are going to go to that place…"

"Dang it… you guys are really lucky."

"Hahaha… I heard those girls are strong, but they would not stand against us… I will enjoy my fill of beauties tonight! Hehehe…"

"Hey, there are four of them… I will get the prettiest, and then you can share the rest… Hahaha…"

The sound of lewd laughter and lecherous comments from the people in that truck made me really angry and worried at the same time. I knew that I have to change my plan for a bit tonight.

I look at the disappearing car and then remember the base that he enters.

Since I already knew where to find it, I will not have a hard time next time. I have to take care of those four women first. They might not be related to me, but for the time that we were together, I already considered them as my older sisters.

So how could I let them suffer in the hands of the enemy? I silently followed the truck towards the city as it traverses down the road.

As I followed them, I noticed that the truck is going through the building where I had an encounter with the woman.

"Stop! Look! This is the group of Tan Failee, right?" one of the Hunters inside the truck said as he looks at the parked truck on the side of the road.

They slowly got off the truck and then checked it. Everyone was a bit stunned upon seeing the bloody scene in front of them.

"Damn it! Everyone get ready… there is a dangerous person in this part… wear thermal!" the man shouted as he put on his helmet.

While looking at them, I could not help but grit my teeth. I did not expect that these people would be this vigilant.

I quickly darted towards the building where I left Xiao Rin.

I found her still lying in the bathtub, when I enter the room, she was even startled.

"It's me… We have to go now…" I said before she could complain.

"I have to carry you… big sister Xiao Rin…" I said as I feel a bit shy about it.

As if seeing through my feelings and reaction, she showed a faint teasing smile on her beautiful face. She spreads her arms towards me and I carried her on my back. After picking up our stuff, I quickly darted out of the building.

We quickly traversed the darkness. The speed I was running was too fast that Xiao Rin seems to be struggling that she suddenly complained.

"Hey, Xin Wei… Can you slow down a bit? The wind is hurting my skin…" she complained.

I nodded my head and slow down my speed a bit but it still made her hide behind my back. I think I was traveling at around 60 to 70 kilometers per hour, so we soon reached the base of the Blue Serpent Gang after around an hour.

"Big sister Xiao Rin, I will take you to a friend of mine. I want to hide with them for a while… okay?" I said as I wanted to leave her so that I can travel easily.

As soon as I said that, the arms of Xiao Rin holding my neck suddenly tighten.

"No… Xin Wei… I…" she wanted to say something but stopped.

"Is there something wrong?"

"Yes… I… I have not told you something very important…" she said while biting her lower lip.

I could tell that she is a bit distress right now and a bit worried. I did not know why, but I could only guess that she did not want to be left alone. But of course, she would not be alone as the group that I am leaving her with is with that woman who can turn invisible, Tang Xing.

With her protection, I know Xiao Rin would be safe.

"Xin Wei… The truth is… every refugee who is staying with the settlement created by the gangs has a tracker implanted on their bodies…" she suddenly said.

When I heard this, I was a bit stunned. But I soon realized the truth. So, the reason why those guys are able to know my location is because of Xiao Rin. I was a bit shocked and worried, and I forced myself to calm down.

"Where did they put the tracker on your body?" I asked.

"I don't know… when I was reading one of the soldiers of the gang, I discovered this. And the location of the tracker is random. One could not know where it is put except those people and except one has a locator…" she explained.

"Hmmm… This is going to be tricky then…"

I decided to check her body to see if I can locate the tracker inside of her.

"Big sister Xiao Rin, I wanted to check your body for the tracker… Maybe I can find it and remove it from you… as you can see; I am well-versed in medicine…" I tried to convince her.

We stopped at a five-story building and I carefully put her down. She then showed a suspicious look on her face while looking at me.

"You're not going to take advantage of me, will you?" she asked while lifting her brows.

I feel like being interrogated as a pervert. But I don't know how to say it plainly and more subtle. I could only tell her my plan and hope that she would understand.

"No… of course not. I promise to just check your body for the possible trace of the so-called tracker." I explained.

"I wonder if those people who came to that place could find us…" I said with a concerned tone.

"Maybe… If they knew who are hunting us, then they might find my tracker, right?" she said with a hint of worry in her tone as she realized something.

Although what she said is true, but I don't think it would be that easy. I just hope that it would take time for those people to find us…

My true concern is not being hunted by them, but I have already decided to make use of those guys so that I could find Bai Yunya and the others. I never would have expected that they would be in trouble after leaving them.

I really thought that they have left the outer part of the city and went through the forest and leave this place for good.

Who would have known that they would fall into trouble?

As I contemplate about things that I needed to do, my ears pick up something. As I listen carefully, my expression slowly changes and my heart could not help but feel a bit worried.

This is because; I could now hear the sound of the truck coming our way traveling really fast.

"Damn it… We've been found… Big sister Xiao Rin hold on tight!" I said as I then gaze in the direction of the truck.

I could tell that they are still a bit far from us, but I could not let my guard down. I knew that they are now unto us and escaping is my only choice for now for Xiao Rin's safety…
