I did not want to stay in this place. Plus it is impossible for me to chase after the flying helicopter, so I decided to escape.

Though I wanted to kill that person so badly, I know that it is not yet time. He would be my next target after I visited a particular place where I can learn more about fighting.

In my fight against Yu Mantao's father, I realized that without my speed, I would have already lost against that man. Though I am strong, fast, and almost invulnerable, I still need to learn to indebt fighting techniques and master the arts of the things that I have learned. This way I can optimize my abilities and strength to their full potential. I now fully realized that what I have learned are superficial parts of the martial arts that I have read.

To be able to fight better, I need more experience. I need to suppress my strength and learn from a martial clan. Upon thinking to this point, I already have an idea of what to do next. And who would be my real next target?

As I look back and saw the many flashing lights and sound of sirens, I just could not help but sneer and quickly ran to the flowing water. Without hesitation, I quickly jump to the river.

I did not know what happened next as I struggled against the strong water current of the river. It did not take me long enough to be able to adapt to the flow of the water.

I began to struggle as I use my hands and feet trying to swim along with the river current. I have brushed up on swimming, but putting it into actual practice is not as easy as it looks. And so I struggled, though I already adapted myself to the river flow, I'm still getting tossed around by the rapid river.

Soon, I discovered that I am already in the middle of the large river flowing through the city.

But my arms and legs have already gotten the hang of it and I can now swim freely like a fish.

Suddenly, my senses had detected something dangerous coming towards me.

I did not hesitate to grab a pair of knives from my vest and floated in the dark water.

Then the current was disturbed as I feel a huge creature rushing in my direction.

Without hesitation, I swing the blade while I dodge to the side.

I could feel my blade cutting through a tough scale of a beast and when it got closer, though it is dark, I saw a huge creature that looks like a giant fish.

The fish is as big as a great white shark and can swim really fast.

But it was unlucky to face me.

Its blood immediately began to flow out of its huge body.

I know that this is the most dangerous time to stay in this place. Since I already hit my target, I quickly swam to the riverside.

Without hesitation, I quickly jump out from the river and into a cemented breakwater. On the side, I saw bushes so I quickly duck amongst the thick foliage.

From where I am hiding, I could see the river began churning as if something is going to come out from its depths.

I could see many people not too far from me, and most of them seem to be recording this phenomenon. I'm just glad that I swam out of that place. From what I could tell, the giant fish that I just wounded are being eaten by other fishes, and those other fishes are being by other predators in the water.

It was really crazy and I could even smell the thick smell of fishy blood in the air.

I need to dry myself in pronto, so I concentrated and willed my Qi to envelop my body. Mists began to come out of my body as my clothes began to dry.

After looking around, I noticed that the place I am hiding is a part of the park but it is secluded and filled with shrubberies and tall grasses. This place has not been touched for a long time making the grasses grow tall.

After the water in my body evaporated, I checked my rifle on my side and also checked my ammunition.

"I don't need to bring this rifle and my guns to where I need to go… I must hide them somewhere…" I thought.

Most of my guns are hidden in some parts of the city.

"Damn I almost forgot…" I thought as I suddenly remember something.

I shook my head and quickly toss the rifle in my hand to the side. Then I reverse my vest to hide the knives, at the same time remove my leg holster. The handgun I inserted on the holster on the vest.

Since my weapons are already hidden, I walk out of the grassy area and walk towards the side street where many people are walking.

Soon I arrive in an alley and using the darkness as my cover, I quickly climb the building and jump from one roof to another until I arrive back at the location where I hid her.

That's right… I actually did not kill Yu Mantao.

I did not know why, whether it is because of pity or because of something else, but I found it hard for me to take her life at that time.

It did not take me long before I soon reached the rooftop where I left her.

As soon as I landed on the roof, I saw Yu Mantao lying on the ground.

She is still unconscious.

I immediately checked her vitals and it seems that she is still stable. Luckily for her, she only suffered from minor to simple fractures. Along with the concussion in her head and many bruises in her body, I can say that she was lucky to still be alive at that time.

The rooftop of this building seems to be neglected for a long time judging from the dust and the gathered rubbish on it. I created a temporary shelter and using my Qi, I dispel all the dust in the area. I then carried Yu Mantao inside.

I began aligning her bones and then using acupuncture, I healed her wounds.

I did not know why she fought back at that time and set the trap for me, but after she regained her consciousness is the only time that I can get my answers.

After healing her wounds, I went out to get my things.

Upon my return, I noticed that the police are still roaming the area. I could even see helicopters and drones flying in the air.

Upon seeing those, I just shook my head and did not mind them. This is because everyone is searching on the far side of the side where the river is.

They did not know that the one they are looking for has returned near where the commotion started.

It was already morning and the sun has risen above when I stopped my practice.

When I open my eyes and turn around, I saw Yu Mantao looking at me.

It seems that she is also awake.

She did not say anything and just looks at me. I could feel the guilt in her eyes and the wariness. I could not blame her; she saw what I did to Lin Ting and her people.

"How do you feel?" I asked.

She bit her lips but said nothing.

"I said, how do you feel?" I asked, this time with a stern voice.

I noticed her trembling when she heard my voice.

"I… I can't move…" she said while biting her lips.

I then realized and remembered that I have blocked her meridians so she is unable to move her body.

"You have suffered fractures in your bones and bruises in your body. It is better for you not to move too much, or else, your bones will break thoroughly and you will feel more pain. Do you understand?" I explained.

She nodded her head but I could feel that she is still wary of me.

I draw closer to her which made her widen her eyes in fear.

Then using my finger, I hit some of her acupoints and unblocked her movement.

Upon recovering her movement, she suddenly backs away but she seems to remember what I said about her wounds and stopped, but it was too late.

Her face suddenly grimaced upon feeling the sharp pain because of her sudden movement.
