Let's get married

Next morning

"Jack," Lisa woke up with a scream. She was panting up and down and the large sweat drops filled her broad but not high forehead.

She unintentionally gazed at the mirror in front of the bed.

"There was a white gauze trapped on her head with some medicine stained on a small area. She scanned the area and realized that it wasn't her home.

" why am I here?" The incidents that happened yesterday started to merge in her head one by one.

She felt the sudden pain urging in her heart and her shoulders tightened.

"Did he cheat me for real?" The lovely moments she had after Kristi was born were only with Jack. But they mean nothing after this.

"Where am I?" She had no idea. She still remembered that she was hit by a car.

" What happened after that? Have someone kidnapped me?" She gulped the saliva that was forming in her mouth unusually.

"You aren't kidnapped," a deep voice echoed in the air as a tall figure appeared at the door.

"Who are you?" She asked him.

"I'm Stuart Grey and please accept my sincere apology for the accident yesterday. My driver was driving faster since I had an urgent meeting to attend. so he wasn't aware of your presence on the road. I want to apologize to you again for my driver's mistake. I want to take responsibility for that," he kept the breakfast tray on the nearby sofa and occupied the next one.

"What do you mean?" She couldn't get his words.

"Then, I will be frank with you. I have already finished my inquiry about you. Trust me I didn't miss even a bit," he gazed at her decolorized face that was giving her full attention to every word carefully and continued, "I want to give you one offer". He held the envelope that he brought with him just before and delivered it to her.

She didn't refuse it and unsealed it with mixed emotions.

she couldn't believe it when she read the heading of that document.

"What's this exactly? do you want to get on my nerves early in the morning?" A churning feeling formed in her stomach.

"Is this a proper way to speak with your savior? he raised one of his eyebrows and gave an intense gaze to her.

"Look, I agree that you have saved me, but that's for your driver's sake. you had to do that because that was your duty," she didn't find any logic in his point.

"Okay, I think you expect to hear from me directly. Then it's my pleasure to fulfill your wish," he looked away from her and focused on something in the distance.

she whirled her head towards him and was pricked up her ears.

"I need to find myself a partner instantly, otherwise my family will force me to marry someone who I never met in my life even once. I know every detail about you from you being an orphan to your cheating boyfriend. I can give you whatever you want, in return to act as my wife in front of my family. you have to just act only and we can never be a real couple. what do you say?" his intense look pierced into her eyes who gazed still perplexed.

"how do you know all about my details? who are you? I don't see where you are coming from?" She shot at him.

"I have already told you, I am Stuard Gray. you can call me Stuard or Mr. Grey or whatever you like. I am the c.e.o of Galaxy entertainment," he repeated patiently.

"I appreciate the offer. But I'm sorry to say that I'm not interested in your deal. thank you for yesterday. I think I should leave immediately before my family searches for me," she got up from the bed and tried to take a step but she couldn't even stand on her own feet, she stumbled forward before she fell but two strong arms caught her around her waist.

she could barely open her eyes after that as the weakness from yesterday's event overtook her whole body.

he caught her tiny fragile body in a bridal style and made her sleep on the bed properly.

"I will be waiting for your reply," he gave a mischievous smile and left the room.

At Judy"s home

Jack was talking with Kristi's parents.

"Hey man, I never thought that you and Krist would end up together. you always hang out with that bitch, Judy. I thought you are going to be fooled by her like we were fooled but thank god, you have realized her real face finally," her father was telling these words exactly when Judy was about to enter the home. Her foot was stuck on the ground she couldn't move even an inch.

"Our thoughts are mutual about that witch. we are blessed with good luck to get you as our son-in-law. I wish you well as you embark on this next chapter of your lives" it was her mother this time.

"So, this is what they always think about me. I have been a bitch even to my parents for a long time. What an imbecile person I am," a teardrop escaped from her eyes a bitter grin developed on her lips when she heard those words which reflected loathsome.

"Thank you, Mr.. and Mrs. Gates, I was always reverent to ask you for your daughter's hand. but Kristi made me brave enough to face you today. I fell for her head over heels from our first meeting. It is the most magical moment of my life. I hesitated to approach her directly and that's why I was friendly with Judy at the start.

"wait? what kind of joke is this? didn't he say that he loved me unconditionally? didn't says that he wanted to marry me and spend the rest of his life with me? didn't he mean any of those words he told me with such a damn lovely expression?" She felt despondent but she wanted to eavesdrop more on their conversation.

"Really? that's so sweet of you darling. you have never told me about it," Kristi came with the tray of juice glasses and handed over it to Jack.

"I wanted to surprise you on my birthday and I did more perfectly than I planned yesterday," he winked at her and imprinted a peck on her cheek.

"Come on darling, love birds have begun to do their romance, it's time for elders like us to leave the place before they drive us awMom

"Mom, don't try to pull my leg as I am already embarrassed and you are making my situation worse," Kristi buried her reddish face behind Jack's back.

"oh honey, you are too adorable to handle when you blush. arent you embarrassed when you hide behind Jack?" her mother wanted to pull her leg as much as possible.

"what a happy and lovely family. they look so perfect without me, they think. so, that means I am the one who is causing the breach of peace and happiness of this family and disturbing their family time whenever I want to spend my time with Jack. I should be the most asinine person to believe that a rich guy like Jack will love me unconditionally and give me a home. I shouldn't have believed his honey-sweet words that were never meant for me from his heart," their conversation helped to open her eyes widely and see through the real picture finally.

"by the way, are you ready to face that witch? I think she might return from her shoot very soon. You shouldn't be swindled by her innocent face and sweet words repeatedly. You should be scrupulous," her mother warded Jack.

"I know aunty but I appreciate your concern towards us and I will never get afflicted by her ostentatious words or emotions. I am going to cut to the chase this time. I won't have mercy on her anymore," he said proudly and looked at Kristi.

Judy wanted to go inside but she did the opposite.

after she heard those words.

"Really? what do you think about me? I am just a teenager who always begs for love from you. I will never let you have the satisfaction of the victory," she determined and left the place.

She knew exactly where she was last night.

She went to that hotel and knocked on the door of that previous room.

An elder person opened the door for her and looked at the person who was inside already.

"Let her come inside,' he said as he was expecting her to come back.

she was quite surprised but she didn't show any of her emotions as she entered inside and the elder man left the room immediately to give the young people some privacy.

"Let's go to the registered office and get married immediately," he felt thunderstruck.

" wait, what? don't tell me you know I would come back," she was amused by his words.

He looked at her and grinned slightly. She couldn't understand the motive for his actions but she wanted to do something.
