Hell's kitchen. How does it work? Will the students even would've enough energy to train after the fight? What will happen to the injured ones?

You may have these kinds of questions and it is valid and obvious.

The Hell's kitchen is supervised by the security guard stationed in the training hall.

The rules are simple, knock out your opponent. Mana and weapons are prohibited.

If you use mana or a weapon, of any type, you're instantly disqualified and you won't be able to use the training hall or apply for a fight for a month.

It is a harsh rule but it is to avoid unnecessary bloodshed among the students. Nobody wants to be out of training for a month, right?

As for the injured one. This academy is one of the most prestigious academies in the whole world, so resources were never a problem for them.

The winners are awarded with recovery potions, so it is a win-win for the winners.

The security guard is a rank A hero and he cannot be defeated by the puny F and E rankers. After all, students in this dorm are the bottom feeders, they are not promoted to the other sections of dorms because of their low stats.

Due to the fighting being harsh, many opt to not train here as there are also other places to train like the park or somewhere else. It was completely okay.

But the equipment here, despite being the worse of the dorms, is also top-notch. So, the competition is still high.

Only the best of the best dares to enter the Hell's Kitchen.

Walking to the training hall, he could hear the noises coming from there.

The atmosphere is very rowdy. Unlike in the morning, he was not hating it.

His heart was racing due to the sheer excitement, after all, the last time he entered here, his ass was whopped.

But this time he was prepared. He wants his name on the 'Golden Billboard.'

Only fighters who set records for the most wins in a single night registers there.

The Hell's Kitchen was just a giant arena, where multiple fights are simultaneously done.

If someone wants to brand his name on the golden billboard then you must defeat 34 students. Crazy, right?

But guess what? He dethroned the previous record which was 23 wins.

The guy was well built with great height and body. He had mastered the Northern style Taekwondo, which was considered to be very difficult to master.

Desmond made his way to the crowd chanting the name.

Inside the fighting ring, Barbadas was squatted on the ground looking at his opponent who was making his way.

Both of them were shirtless, as most of the audience was also shirtless except for the ladies.

They too participate in these fights and they do win the fights earning the right to the training hall.

Any inappropriate move and you're out!

Many other fights were supposed to happen in the arena but they were on a hold as they were not as important as this one, or so the audience thinks.

Barbadas circled the arena same as the opponent.

'Gonorrhea, scan his movement. I need to analyze his movements if I want to take him down.' Desmond said while watching the fight from the top of the arena.

Most of the crowd was outside the circle and cheering loudly. He could see many first years among them. Still no Malkis though.

He wished the annoying brat not to be here. Only a wish, he knows it too.

The opponent made the first move.

He dashed towards Barbadas.

The crowd went silent.

Then they showed their disappointment.

"Well, what can I do, he was just weak." Barbadas shrugged his shoulders, seeing the crowd's reaction.

The booing only intensified.

The opponent just went down in less than a millisecond.

From what he saw, Barbadas just used a high kick to the face and that was it. The opponent never saw what was coming.

Desmond just shook his head hearing the nonsense from the system.

He decided to register for the fight at the front desk but before he could walk away, he heard a familiar and annoying sound.

"Ah, Des, you're also here. Where were you today? I called you many times. You also here to watch the fights?"

Yep, it was him. Our hero's love rival.

Desmond sighed heavily and turned back to look at the group.

"I'm not here to watch. I'm here to train." He haughtily spoke.

"Wait, you're going to fight?" It was Aurelia who asked.

"Yeah. Goodbye."

That was the end of their conversation not because no one had anything to talk but because Desmond walked away.

"This is going to be super awesome. He's going to fight again." Tom excitedly said.

Everyone else also nodded in agreement. Even Aurelia had to admit, it was refreshing to see him fighting.

Unlike others who use raw power and screams, he uses his brain to fight against opponents stronger than him.

His battle experience is also impeccable for his age.

For someone who doesn't like to gloat about power, this is going to be the exact opposite.

There wasn't an ounce of doubt on anyone's mind, as they all saw his powers and experience against a rank C villain.

Not to mention, this can be an opportunity to learn about his martial powers which he never used before.
