CHAPTER 58 Getting into Character
ANNA'S POV
"You see, my son has never brought home a lady that he wants to introduce to us… so you are the first sweety. That's why we know that you must be special to him." Marjorie said.
I smiled at her words and didn't realize it until she smiled back and spoke.
"Awww... that's a nice smile and I'm happy that he makes you happy. Everyone calls him a playboy, but after they all find out that the handsome playboy is finally tying the knot, they won't say anything anymore."
I blushed, knowing that my story was a complete fabrication. But I had to keep up the charade if I wanted to keep my true reason a secret.
I wasn't sure how long I could keep up the lie, but I would do my best to convince them that I was the perfect match for their son.
