Jack Pov

Everyone left with Logan, Mr Felix, entered the room. Daniel was leaning on a widow, was completely startled, he was not even talking to me, I have never seen him like this, he didn't even drink water, just stood there, he was starving himself, as punishment for leaving her for 10days.

I was not able to see him like this, I had to make him see her, as I was planning what to do, I saw the duty nurse, she was my cousin's friend. I went to her and said Hi Cami, she was surprised to see me, then she said, hi Jack, what are you doing in the hospital, is anything with family members, I shook my head and said her everything, then she gave me complete detail of Megan's health conditions, and her family details as she was her elder sister's classmate, in high school, I requested her can she take Stone creature inside the room by any means, I begged her for some time, even offered her a discount in our retail shop, that's where Daniel works during our vacation to make money for the coming year fees.

Finally, Cami agreed to take this stone creature inside Megan's room, as her helper to change medicine. She took Daniel to the nurse counter and gave him a long white coat, which covered him till his knee, made him wear a mask and a head cap. Daniel was looking so funny as a male nurse, but the change in him for Megan surprised me, he was the person who will never, ever compromise for anything or anyone except for his mother. Daniel gave me a warning look, and went with Cami, I waited near the nurse counter, so that nobody should notice me.

Daniel Pov

I entered Megan's room, with Cami, and saw her dad, Mr Felix was fallen asleep on the couch, Cami looked into my eyes and said, I will wait near the door, preparing her injection and I give you five minutes to see her come out, I nodded my head, and walked to Megan bed said, I saw she was looking very fragile and pale, her fare, the delicate face was so lifeless, she was sleeping, and her hair was scattered all over her face, I pushed her scattered hair behind, her ears, to see her full beautiful face. I held her hand and touched her forehead it was hot, but her temperature was reduced, I was happy to see Megan was getting better, I touched her cheek, and bend down and kissed her hair, and left reluctant to go out, Cami too gave her the injection and came out.

Jack and I both walked out of the hospital to a street food shop, ate some fried chicken noodles, and fried rice, it was already late noon, again Jack used his charm, to find out when she will be discharged, he came back to tell me, that Megan's fever as completely come down, and Megan was all fine to go back home this night, as we wear waiting for Megan's discharge.

Jack came with two cups of coffee, in his hand and sat next to me in the parking next to his bike, as we were drinking coffee, he updated me about Megan's health, that she as been very much stressed for few days by now, and maybe a little depressed, that's the reason for her sudden fever, and he even updated about her family that Cami as told him.

That she was the last child of the family, her elder sister is a doctor, and her brother Logan as we know him well, Her father was a senior government official with high raking, not like my father, and her mother was a teacher. Mega has been treated like a little princess in her family.

Her father is a very open-minded person, he always encourages female liberation, he had sent Mrs Felix to college to finish her studies and helped in taking care of kids, during her studies, and even now he cooks on weekends to give his wife rest, and it's a must for all men to learn cooking and cleaning, and helping with laundry in there family, as Mr Felix is the head their whole family he as made this a rule.

Jack finished his updates as secured, I was surprised by this man, who's so different from men I know.
