Campus Interview

I had left to A city, to meet an important person, who was responsible for the project, I was waiting when I got wechat from Jack,

Jolly Jack: Hi Danny, how is everything going in your interview, Megan is back, she was looking for you.

Dark Shadow: I didn't know she's coming today, I will reach home by today late evening, I think. Ok, I will text Megan.

I replied to his text and sent a text message to Megan.

Dark Shadow: Hai Meg, you Little goblin can't you say you're coming back to school today, I may not have come for Project submission, I would have come tomorrow or on weekend.

Deep blue ocean: "Never mind, your project is important, we can meet tomorrow there is no urge...All the best with your project,

I love you🥰, call me when your back"

I read the text, I just wanted to fly to Megan, I have missed her so badly, it's been a month, we met... as I was thinking about Megan, my name was called, I knocked on the door and entered when I heard "Come in".

It was a man in his early 50's, he was looking majestic, he was dressed in a tailored navy blue suit, he gestured me to take my seat, I was nervous, but was confident in the project that I have prepared for the interview, the person introduced himself as Skylar Sol, the CEO of S&S Corporation.

I was so very nervous now, I was here to meet the Vice president of the management department, but I was flabbergasted to be interviewed by CEO himself, but I confidently presented my presentation, Mr Sol, just listened to my explanation, I hope he was impressed, he asked me to wait for few minutes in the lounge, I was praying everything should go well,

"S&S Corporation" was one of the finest enterprises in A city and also established themself all around the country.

After an hour of wait, I was called by a secretary into the cabin on the top floor, not the room earlier, I walked into a magnificent office, it looked like some European Palace, the office was built with fresh air and health as a priority. As such, air from the outside arrived on the floor through two large French floor windows, the decorations were in rich ancient Greek styles, as I walked into the office in a daze, I saw Mr Sol, sitting behind his Black Marble Desk, on a luxurious Black leather office chair, I stood in front of him when he smiled and asked, me to sit down, I sat right opposite to him.

Mr Sol asked, "Young man introduce yourself", I straightened my back and introduced myself, " Hello Mr Sol, I am Daniel Reid, I live in K city, with my family, My Dad is a Supervisor in the Government office, My Mom is a Housewife While My two elder brothers are married and live in different cities, and my third brother is training in the military, it's his last year of training, I have a younger sister, she's in her 1st-year high school, I am the 4th born in my family, I am in my finale year of Business Management course, I will graduate this year, this is my Project for my Campus Interview, to develop the business in new City. I have been working in a famous all-purpose store in K city as store in charge for the past 3 years, I finished my intro and looked at Mr Sol.

Mr Sol smiled and said,

"Well too impressive for such a young age, if I give you a job to work for my new branch, will you agree to join as an intern and learn the rules and regulations of the company, and after six months I will promote you and allow you to work on your project for my company".

I was dumbfounded at what I was hearing, This was the CEO of S&S Corporation, and offering me a job in his new branch.

I didn't know what to say, I just nodded my head, he smiled and asked,

" Don't want to know where is the new branch", I was back to my sense and looked at him with a puzzled face, Then he said, "Don't worry young man, it's going to open in a few weeks, in K city". I was happy beyond words could describe... I smiled and thanked Mr Sol, many times he just smiled and called his PA Mr Cam, Mr Cam, walked in with a gentle smile, he looked very elegant and mysterious,

Mr Sol asked Mr Cam to give me an approval letter on my project and an appointment letter as an intern in S&S Corporation, I thanked Mr Sol and walked out with Mr Cam, and collected my letters and got the earliest train, it was an hour and a half journey to K city.

I had parked my bike in the railway station this morning when I went, so took my bike, it was already 10 PM, I thought of going home but wanted to see my little goblin now and share the happiest news of my life with her first because all these were for her, it all belongs to her, to give Megan the most comfortable life she can have, as usual, I parked my bike near the tree, took the letters put them in my jacket pocket, and climbed the tree, the windows were closed, I called her, Megan picked in a single ring as if she was waiting for my call, I heard the most pleasant voice from the other side,

" Hello Danny, have reached K city".

I just wanted to hear her voice for some more time, it is been three days since I have spoken to Megan, I was really busy with my work, and project, so I had not called her, and she to didn't call, maybe she was travelling, Now that voice of her's was like a drug to me, seducing me, as I was in my thoughts, Megan's voice again bought me back,

"Hai Danny, are you there, how was your interview, is everything alright, if not, don't worry about anything we will figure out",

she was consoling me... I smiled and said, "Megan, open your window".
