Drowned

We walked on until we found a village. We dropped off the child in front of a small hut around there. Then we marched on for 2 weeks. We still had a lot of food from looting the house so we were still fine for about a month and a half. After a month, we found a village. We'd spent 5 days without eating so we were relieved. Unlike last time, we were let in. We split up there and I started begging. I barely made any and still starved on the other hand, she had gotten married to a rich man. And so I lived like this for the next 4 months. I was a husk of what I was. My skin was dirty and smelt of mud and dirt. This was horrible until one day a witch hunt was set, the rich man had died. They gathered many women and a few men. One of them was... the blonde girl. One by one they were drowned. I couldn't save them or else I'd be considered a witch. It all came to a close when the blonde girl was drowned.
