Hell's One : Life's Just A Video Tape

At The Devil Hunters' Organization...

"Sir, it appears to be that operation team no.4 is having some trouble right now at the parliament against a group called the 'Colonials'", Aiden said while sitting at the council's table.

"Can you specify a little more regarding that?", Elias asked, "if they're in a bad situation, i'll just send Wyatt there to give them some back up, he'll surely be able to wipe them out".

"Well that would be easier said than done, sir", Aiden said, "if we were to send Wyatt there, he would end up facing one of his former students".

Elias just stared at the wooden table for a bit ,until a realization struck him.

"Aiden, Zane is currently at the parliament fighting those 'Colonials', correct ?", Wyatt asked.

"Yes sir, Zane is currently there with Emma at the parliament", Aiden said, "they had to go there in suits since they just came back from Alex's wedding ( another devil hunter from operation team no.4 )".

Elias then gave a devious smile towards Aiden and said, "call Wyatt now, i've got a plan".

"What could that plan be?", Aiden asked.

"You already know this ,but Zane has the ability called 'Inversione', he can reverse any sequence in terms of time and he can reverse the age of his opponents", Wyatt said.

Aiden nods in response.

"Why don't we do this", Wyatt said, "at a time of a given catastrophe, we can send Wyatt as a distraction and then, Zane can use his ability to reverse time until he prevents it, we've now got a backup plan to their trump card".

"Well if Zane's going to reverse time, we'll have to restart this conversation again and not to mention, what if he fails ?", Aiden asked.

"Zane can just reverse time until he knows how to prevent the incident", Elias said, "if we're going to restart this conversation, I'll just have to write it on my hand with a pen to remember everything and initiate the plan once again and send Wyatt as a distraction, this plan is inevitable!".

"Th-that could actually work, sir", Aiden said.

Elias quickly grabs a blue pen from one of the table's drawers and writes 'Operation XDevils'.

"Let us initiate Operation XDevils!", Wyatt said.

Aiden ran out of the Council room and ran through the corridor that led into the garage where Wyatt was getting a drink from the vending machine.

"W-wyatt *takes a deep breathe*, you need to listen to Elias, he's got a plan and you play a major role in it", Aiden said.

Wyatt stays silent and takes his drink from the vending machine.

"Wyatt, you must participate in this operation, they're orders from Elias", Aiden said.

"Aiden, I heard everything…that bastard is willing to play with my students as if they're chess pieces!", Wyatt said while slamming his fist onto the vending machine.

"You must follow his plan or else your students will just be in even greater danger", Aiden said.

Wyatt slowly approaches Aiden.

It was as if he was staring into Aiden's soul.

"I'll do anything for my students, even if it means that I'd defy that narcissistic bitch", Wyatt said.

"They're not supposed to mean that much to you, Wyatt", Aiden said, "if they die, you're not supposed to feel any sort of emotions, you don't curl yourself up into a ball and die with them, what's done is done".

Wyatt just stays silent and lights a quick cigar and says, "you all…never understood love and sympathy in the first place".

Operation XDevils has started.

Wyatt just stood there in the corridor, waiting for a status update.

"Status : negative, sir", one of the researchers said, "it appears to be that an explosion will occur soon by one of the opponents, we've sent the message to Zane and now he understands the operation's procedure".

"Understood, i'll get there now, Operation XDevils has started everyone!", Wyatt said as he was leaving the building.

While Wyatt was leaving the building, Aiden was just standing there in front of the exit, "What is it now?", Wyatt asked.

"Don't forget my advice, we don't have time for inconveniences like grief in this place, and you know that very well from your previous experiences", Aiden said while crossing his arms.

Wyatt just leaves the building.

Wyatt uses his ability called 'Unchained Misery' to teleport from the exit of the building to the battlefield.

He saw Sanders towering over all his opponents, they were simply annihilated by the explosion.

Wyatt used 'Unchained Misery' again to teleport Sanders' arm off his body.

Sanders just turned around and he was met by a pleasant surprise.

"Would you look at that, my old teacher is back!", Sanders said, "what old man-advice do you have for me now, Mr.Wyatt?".

"What happened to you?", Wyatt asked.

"To be honest, I don't know…I just winged it, that's how most things happen in life", Sanders said, "then again, everything happens for a reason, there are no coincidences in life, this is my destiny…Mr.Wyatt!".

"Hmph…*starts laughing*, the weird thing is, I've had your thought process for a long period of my life too ,but you wanted to be independent and I get that, you were tired of facing your seniors, we're both the same…Sanders", Wyatt said.

Wyatt then crosses his fingers behind his back towards Zane, defining the 'X' in 'Operation XDevils'.

Zane then says, "Inversione : Time Reverse!".

Time then started going backwards almost as if it was a video tape.

The parliament was re-assembling itself again and all the dead military personnel came back to life.

They were all back to their previous designated places, Zane, Emma and Sanders were back to facing each other in the parliament.

Aiden and Elias are back at the counselors' room, Elias flips his palm and he sees 'Operation XDevils'.

"The operation is now moving forward, victory will be the only outcome", Elias said.

Wyatt was also back at the garage in front of the vending machine.

"So, it has begun", Wyatt said to himself, "no matter how much pain you go through, just think about the peace that you'll face later on".

Note : sorry about the hiatus , I'm officially back to releasing weekly chapters, I just wasn't motivated enough :/ ( again, sorry )
