Friends and foes [2]

Harumi slumped trough the hallways of the castle to the library. She desperately tried not to think about her parents, siblings and friends. Why was her life so unfair? What did she ever do to deserve this? She recycled, not because she had to but because she wanted to. She had never shoplifted and always turned in her assignments on time. Even for the subjects she hated! She tried to contain her angry tiers. It just wasn't fair! Even if she would ever find a way back, her life would never be the same. At this rate she would miss too much from school what ment she couldn't graduate, which ment she couldn't go to collage on a scholarship, what ment she couldn't go overseas for her masters degree.

"You know, I heard a funny rumor." Someone said out of the blue. Harumi waked up from her own thoughts and looked around. Leaning against the wall was Gehin. Harumi didn't think it was possible for her to have an even deeper plunging neckline than last time without showing her nipples for the world to see. But she did it. She was so not in the mood for this right now. Harumi rolled her eyes and started to walk away. Gehin grabbed her by a shoulder and yanked her back while she dug her long pointy nails in her shoulder. Outraged Harumi turned around to look at the bimbo. Gehin was a bit taller than her bij a few centimeters so Harumi had to slightly look up.

"What do you want?" She asked without masking her anger. She was so done with this woman.

"A little birdie told me that there soon will be a new legal wife..." Gehin whispered with a smile. "Do you know what the first thing is what I'm gonna do when I become the legal wife of Ode Nobunaga?" She continued. Harumi knew this was a bluf. Nobunaga made it very clear from the beginning that the marriage between her and him was completely political. And although she didn't think much about Nobunaga, one thing was for sure; He wasn't stupid.

"Believe what you want. If that is what lets you sleep at night it's fine by me." Harumi scoffed at Gehin. Before her eyes Gehins face that had a thick layer of make up over it twisted in an angry expression while the shade of her pale skin turned a deep purple. Harumi clearly had hit the nail right on the head.

"How dare you!" Gehin screamed. Harumi was secretly a bit pleased with herself. She had irritated herself with this woman since she came to the castle and she could finally let it out. Before she new it Gehin lunged at her and slapped her across the face. For a moment Harumi stood flabbergasted in the middle of the hallway. Did this bitch just slap her?!? Before she could react Gehin slapped her again. This was it. Harumi lost all self control. She was so angry. Who was this person to think she could just slap her to her hears content? Harumi always had been a bit rough around the edges and a tomboy. So instead of slapping her back or pulling her hair she balled her hand into a fist and punched Gehin directly on the nose. Within seconds there was blood gushing out of Gehins nose. This only made her more angry and she pushed Harumi on the ground while she started to pull on her hair and tried to scratch her face. In blind anger Harumi heat butted Gehin as hard as she could. Gehin fell backwards while Harumi jump up and lunged herself at the prostitute. The two girls tried to harm each other while yelling in pain when one of them landed a hit. It felt like they had been fighting four hours and Harumi's muscles started to ache but in reality it only bin a few moments. Apparently there had been some people who tried to separate the two women but in the heat of the moment she hadn't noticed them.

"Lady Nohime, please stop." A maid cried. Finally the yelling around her got trough to her. Slowly she stood while she kelp looking at Gehin who still had a murderers look in her eyes. Two maids directly came to her crying to check if she was alright while a man yanked Gehin onto her feet.

"Wait till I tell Oda Nobunaga-sama what you did to me!" She screamed at the top of her lungs while she tried to get past the man to go for a second round. All her make up was smushed, her hair was a mess and her nose was still bleeding.

"Please tell him how you assaulted me and I merely defended my self you stupid bitch!" Harumi yelled while she begun to feel angry again.

"You are crazy!" Gehin yelled who had completely lost it. The guard dragged Gehin away while the two maids carefully ushered Harumi back to her quarters.

"Don't worry, I'm alright." She tried to calm one of the maids who was crying uncontrollably. "I just have a couple of scratches but I'm sure right now it looks worse than it actually is."

"We saw everything Hime-sama, we can vouch for you!" The other maid said. She was clearly angry that someone dared to attack the lady of the castle.

When Harumi was near her quarters the whole palace was already buzzing and her three maids came running to her to take her back to her rooms. They cleaned her face carefully but tooughroully. Just as Harumi expected. At first it looked a lot worse than it actually was. She had a few cuts on one of her cheeks but other than that nothing to worry about. Some bruises and bumps, nothing that wouldn't heal over time. Rike-chan was crying the whole time they took care of her wounds. Lin-chan was ready to give Gehin a piece of her mind while Masa-kun was terrifyingly calm. Masa-kun had a look on her face as if one of her own children just been bullied and she was about to kill the villain.
