Citrus POV

I turned to Rock " how you know him?"

He turn and looked at me with a confused stared and said

"this my manz how you know him?"

I was gazing at the tall an handsome man. I must have zoned out because I didn't hear one word Rock just said to me.

I walked over to the tall an handsome man I seen at metro earlier that day,

I don't know why I was nervous.

" I never got your name", I felt butterflies in my stomach as those words travel off my tongue.

His smile was infectious.

"It's King", I wish I had more time to talk to you early you mind if we go outside and talk now?"

Nina look at me with a smirked smile on her face. She must've been knew about King and never said nothing to me about it.

Her slick ass, I get her for that one.

I nodded at king giving him the ok to go outside and talk. I opened the front door so we could sit on the step.

As soon as we sat down on he started chuckling before I said a word.

"What you laughing at?"

As he continued to chuckle he shook his head, look towards the ground an said, " I didn't know you had a twin."

"At one point of time I thought you was Nina until I she told me about you. She loves you a lot, I can tell she's over protective about you lol."

I started blushing.

Nobody will ever understand the sisterly love we have for each other, it's unbreakable.

"Nina is always up to something."

I started laughing an shivering. The temperature was dropping.

"Me and my sister been through so much we must have each other's back because know one else will."

As I was venting to King he softly took off his hoodie an put it around my shoulders.

I didn't even acknowledge what he did until I stopped shivering.

I just kept on rambling to him  until rock swung the door open.

His eyes were dilated and red as hell, his face dripping with sweat an it looked like his heart was beating out his chest.

He had white stuff smeared across his face.

If I didn't know any better it was coke on his face.

He wiped the coke and sweat from his upper lip and began spitting as he was talking.

"Yo call 911  Nina is OD'ing in the kitchen"

My heart dropped to my stomach. I couldn't believe the words that just came out of his mouth.

I couldn't even think straight.

I grabbed my phone jumped up an dashed into the house.

My sister was laying on the floor looking lifeless. There was foam dripping down the side of her face.

I ran to her side to check her pulse...

I didn't feel one....

I pulled out my phone and began to dial 911.

Tears began to rolled down my face. I got on my knees and began to pray.

"God please don't take my sister away I know she have had her share of sins but please don't take her away from me, in Jesus name I pray amen."

They said it would take them 5 to 15 minutes to get to Rocks crib.

I stood up, grabbed the closest knife to me and ran towards Rock.

King tried to stop me, I swerved him.

I held the butcher knife to his throat and said,

"If she don't fucking make it, you wont make it. I mean that shit."

He looked at me with pure fear in his eyes and mumbled "I-I I'm sorry we always sniffed a little to take the edge of this never happened before it was her idea."

I could hear the sirens from the ambulance and the cop car lights approaching. I slowly removed the knife from his neck.

I swung the front door open to signal the ambulance to come in.

They rushed out the van an case in the house.

They seen Nina'a body laying on the floor the checked her pulse and began to pursue CPR on her.

I heard one paramedic yell we have a pulse and lifted her up on stretcher and rolled out to the ambulance truck.

I followed and told them I was her twin sister so they'll let me go with her.

King ran out to me kissed me an the cheek and gave me a paper with his number on it.

"Call me when you get to the hospital to let me know if everything alright."

I nodded my head and closed the back door of the ambulance truck.

The paramedics begin to asked me simple questions about Nina so they could give her the correct treatments.

When we approach the hospital the immediately took her to the ICU department.

I tried to follow them back there but the the room they were putting her in but I had to sit in the waiting room until they told me if she'll make it or not.

....Over an hour has passed an nobody has came to me an told me anything my heart began pounding.

I took my phone out and the little slip of paper King gave me with his number on it.

I dialed his number an hesitated before pressing the call button.

It rung twice before he answered.

"Citrus?" King said anxiously.

"Hey yeah it's...me I don't know what's going on I've been waiting nearly an hour for them to tell me something but..."

He cut me off  in mid sentence and said "I'm on my way what department are you in."

"Im in the waiting room in the ICU department ."

He hung up after that. I was actually glad he was coming, sitting in here by myself was giving me hella anxiety.

After about 15 minutes King walked in the room I was waiting in an sat next to me.

He grabbed my hand kissed it an told me everything was gonna be alright.

I believe him.

He has to be a good luck charm because 5 minutes later the doctor came out an approached me.

I stood up and asked what state was she in.

My heart dropped.
