"What? You didn't see her at all?" Leo asked in an annoyed tone.
The two of his bodyguards nodded their heads. They also felt strange because they didn't see any trace of Aleya at all. Even though their eyes saw Aleya turning towards the alley.
Meanwhile, Leo didn't know what else to say. Because if he had lost track, what else could he have done besides waiting for the right time to follow Aleya again?
Leo sighed. He raised one hand to order his men away from before him. His bare chest rumbled in annoyance because as long as he had known Aleya and inquired about her, he had not gotten any results.
He looked at Maya who was sleeping on the hotel bed naked wrapped in a blanket, her lust had been channeled and he had also given her money, according to what Maya needed.
Leo put on his clothes, he left the hotel leaving Maya. Of course, he was used to it, and again, he had other interests besides staying in the hotel.
"Boss, the client from Bible Book has been calling the company cell phone. They, I mean, their boss wants to work with your company," said Ray, one of Leo's bodyguards.
"Tsk! Bible Book? What kind of cooperation do you mean?"
"He wants to put their app on our smartphone's Mango Store," Ray replied.
"Hmm... I see? What's the boss's name? Have you found out?"
"His name is Gabriel, Boss."
Leo tried to remember whether he had an acquaintance named Gabriel or not. But again, there were many names of Gabriel who were his relations in business matters.
"What's his last name?" Leo asked, finally.
"Boss, this is a little weird. But we couldn't find his last name. He's just Gabriel."
Leo fell silent again. He stroked his beard. If something caught his attention, then he would immediately find out.
Arriving at his office with a towering building, Leo climbed the escalator and entered his office room. He took off his coat and called his secretary on the phone on his desk.
"Call Mr. Gabriel, the owner of the Bible book, to confirm that he can see me today," Leo ordered.
"Alright, sir."
He hung up the phone and he sat in his chair as he moved here and there. In his eyes was a special pen holder which he only used to put something new he had gotten in the last few days.
Some of the wings he encountered without knowing where they came from. He collected it personally because the wings he got were white which he had never seen before.
Inside that place, he already had four strands of white wings. His face smiled as he touched it. How soft the wings were, made him remember the touch he had made not too long ago.
Remembering who he touched recently, his secretary came in and informed him that his prospective client named Gabriel had arrived.
"Send him in," Leo ordered without taking his eyes off her.
Gabriel entered Leo's room. He put on a white after and stared at Leo, who was noticing something familiar in Gabriel's eyes.
Gabriel's face was shocked. He knew every wing of the young angels under his tutelage as well as Ivory. Moreover, Gabriel knew who Leo was.
But Gabriel tried to rid his mind of negative things.
"Good morning, Mr. Leo," Gabriel greeted, breaking Leo's silence.
Leo immediately averted his gaze. He put the tubular holder into position. "Oh, Good morning, Mr. Gabriel? Is that your name?"
"Yes, that's my name. Without the last name," Gabriel said firmly.
"Ah, I see. Have a seat, Mr. Gabriel."
"Beautiful wing feathers. Is that a bird's wing?" praised Gabriel as he looked at the jar holder.
Leo chuckled. "I don't know myself, Mr. Gabriel. I've been looking for it for a few days and I'm starting to plan to collect it. And you're right, these wing feathers are very beautiful. White in color and soft I feel when I touch it," Leo explained.
Gabriel remained calm even though he already knew whose wings it was. Although it wouldn't be a problem if the wing feathers were owned by someone else, it would be good if the owner was looking for the rest.
"Well, I hear you want to do business with me, Mr. Gabriel. Can you explain to me your proposal?" Leo asked politely.
Gabriel explained his desire to cooperate with Mango Cell Phone. He also opened up his proposal to show how useful it would be to install his app on Mango smartphones.
With such dexterous and perfect pronunciations that captivated Leo's heart, finally, a look of interest appeared on Leo's face for the explanation Gabriel gave him.
"Well, Mr. Gabriel ... I will study this proposal myself. Your explanation is sufficient for me to understand. And in three days, I will give you my answer."
Gabriel smiled triumphantly. He gave the proposal to Leo and then shook hands with him.
"I hope we can work together, Mr. Leo," Gabriel said.
"What you offer is indeed tempting and interesting. I hope I answer according to your expectations."
"I hope in God, Mr. Leo. I leave everything to Him. Good morning, nice to meet you."
Leo was just dumbfounded by the end of his meeting with Gabriel. Hearing the word 'hope in God', made him feel devastated. So far, he had always hoped for what he trusted. And Gabriel's words seemed to knock on the door of his heart.
Leo immediately shook his head. He reached for his coat and the proposal Gabriel had just left, as he felt his work at the office was done with him. Because his presence in the office was only met with Gabriel.
Out of the office accompanied by his two bodyguards, he found another wing feather near his car. He looked to his right and left, there was no animal or anything from the owner of the fur. Instead, he smelled Aleya's scent.
"Aleya..." he mentioned her name softly.
"Boss?" called his bodyguard.
"Looks like Aleya just came from here. Or at least she's around here. You two follow her, I'll drive home alone," Leo ordered.
