Hikaru was fast asleep once he finishes cleaning every nook and cranny of his room, but for others, the night has yet to begin. In a particular area near the penthouse lies a few high-ranking workers alongside the head butler, Lou Qing. The atmosphere was heavy, eyes tense and none uttered a word, and they place their attention on Lou

He made his way through dozens of guards safeguarding this particular area and a note full of Hikaru's information. "Hikaru Aoi... Social status Orphan/Student, gender male, age 16, and has a great track record in terms of education. He was often picked on by his classmate back in junior high and lived a horrible life... That's until he was scouted to be a scholar, quite suspicious. I suggest we eliminate him this instant!"

The worries of the crowd vanished and they sighed upon learning his reason for calling this meeting. "Head butler... You're exaggerating as always. I know that finding the identity of the lady's kidnapper is important, but you can't blame a child! Do you think no one knows...? You're such an overprotective piece of shit!"

The head maid sighed in another one of his tantrums and ordered the guards in Lou Qing's stead. "I'll do something about that idiot, make sure you scare that kid away by any means necessary. Intensify his schedule, give him the worst meals, and if that doesn't work... I'll allow you to be a little physical to a certain degree,"

11 hours later

"Dude, you look like shit... What the hell happened to you?" Kaoru was utterly confused when he saw Hikaru drained even before the start of their class

'Shit!!! I got ganged up once I dealt with the fuckers who went up asking for a beating. Not gonna lie I kind of went wild kicking someone else's liver, but aren't they ashamed...? It seems that Lou Qing already made his move on kicking me out of the penthouse, but this is too early. I wasn't even warned by the story tracker, then it must have been someone else pulling all the strings. Thank god! That shitty roll multiplier saved my life,'

When he opened his eyes, Hikaru was perplexed when he realizes it was Karin's feet and an angle where he could view her underwear

Karin was shocked when Hikaru grabbed a hold of her feet and she fell on his sheets before he faces her eyes. "You bastard what are you doing? Do you think you'll get away if you try to do anything to me!!? Unhand me this instant~"

"Yawn... Can you learn some manners? I know why you hired me, it's not like you'll need another bodyguard. You have dozens, it'd easy to tell your motives, tell me... You want a guide am I right?" Hikaru released her foot and when her motive was revealed she remain silent instead of lashing out

"So you already knew...? Tch, whatever. Take a bath, wear your uniform, and will continue once you're done. It's in your best interest to follow my orders~"

"Oh yeah, I forgot. Before you leave and all how about you be more careful. Even if you have no interest in men, showing off your panties sends a different message. Also if you want to act all high and mighty, I suggest you wear something mature~" Hikaru was knocked off balance after Karin successfully aims her target with his pillow

Her flustered expression began to be more noticeable and her oh-so-fancy use of words degraded from a typical girl. "Shut up!!! Why you...! Hikaru Aoi, I won't tolerate this kind of thing more than once. You're lucky enough to be favored by my princess or else I would've ruined your life!"

After an hour or so they finally arrived at the mall of all places for the start of Hikaru's next step in continuing her story. "Hikaru Aoi... teach me the ways of a commoner. I realized it later but the princess rejects my luxurious presents. I think I should approach as a commoner instead of someone higher of social status,"

"Isn't it just because she's straight?" He mumbled and despite his clear yet concise Karin was incapable of hearing his words to the fullest

"What did you just say? Oi! Repeat your words... urghhhh!!! I knew this wasn't gonna work, why can't it just be as easy as that? Why is it so hard to get what I want~"

Before she could finish her words of pure utter rage, Hikaru added a few to extinguish and reinforce her desire. "Isn't this why we're here in the first place...? You know that you can't stand such a noisy crowd, and thought you might slowly adapt. In the world of commoners, you wouldn't get your answers even if you asked. Money can't get everything and we mostly rely on relationships and intelligence to get by the end of the day,"

Since she ordered her guards in advance to leave her in the care of Hikaru, she notices the difference when she was alone by herself. A flick of her finger can easily summon dozens of guards to care for everything that she desires. Not to mention that even such places as this can be held in her palms with a simple call from her parents

Her body trembled and she couldn't resist such a large and suffocating crowd, not to mention that she was all alone.

'Oh no! My breathing... it's happening again? I can't lash out. This was supposed to prepare me when I finally decided to court my princess. I told everyone that I wouldn't falter... I can't take it anymore, the crowds are too big, too noisy I can't stand it anymore I just want to go~'

Her uneasiness continues to rise further than she could ever imagine whilst she shakes and her condition worsens as time goes by. When she was a hair close to crying Hikaru responded to her need. His hands made their way to gently stroke their head and before she could figure out her situation. The noise vanished and was replaced with a beautiful melody originating from the thing strapped to her noggin

"That's a headphone. I said that the world of commoners is hard, but we have ways to counteract our weaknesses. It's not that great but it'll do~" For a moment Hikaru was stunned when she showed him a glimpse of her gratitude

Her hair waved around and her beauty was present and yet for this moment it caught his attention. "T-Thanks... Hikaru, I appreciate it,"

Before he could reply, the lights went off and he hears the crowd scream and panic whilst his panel informed him of what was to come
