Here Comes The Parody

As the bell rang signifying their their recess the teacher halted his lessons and allowed them to leave but one remained indifferent

"Ughhhh..."

"What's the matter with him? He looks so lifeless today. Nana, perchance, have you heard any of his recent dilemmas?" Kaoru and his maid stared at the left side of the room which occupied Hikaru's chair along with his friend

"I have nothing, but I did overheard Lady Karin saying he got dragged by upperclassmen. But the identity of said upperclassmen is unknown," Having heard Nana's intel he ordered her to bring the snacks he bought and split them between Hikaru and himself as he brainstorms

'Upperclassmen... Upperclassmen... Who in the world could it be? Sana? No, she's too shy as she's careless when making it here on time. She says a higher year, so that prodigy is out of the question, but maybe her club assistant? I heard most of them are upperclassmen. Still, that's far off the table; if she does need him, she'll come here herself, so who is– Oh fuck!'

Although Kaoru wasn't sure if his guess was correct and it would've been a coincidence if he knew all Hikaru's doing was on point. He barely attended any class but he still aced every single test, but the worst part is his attendance. No matter if he doesn't gain a failing grade, the school takes student participation to the extreme, and his friend rarely ever comes

"Hikaru, did Hanegawa senpai talk to you- Hey what's wrong? You suddenly choked on your drink," Kaoru patted his back easing his recovery, and gave him a dumbfounded stare

"Are you a psychic or something? What made you think that happened? I might just be pissed off because I didn't sleep properly,"

"Dude, you barely went to school in our first month since becoming friends. I've been through a lot of shit. So I know..."

Hikaru was skeptical whether he'd be the creator, but all of his actions proved his innocence, and he sighed. "Spare me the scolding, Sherlock. I've already got that covered a while back. But I have a favor, I wanna ask,"

"Ohohoho! A favor? Well, Hikaru surely we haven't been that close for such a thing-"

"Touche I'll just ask Suzu-" Kaoru instinctively grabbed ahold of Hikaru's shoulder the moment he tried to leave his chair

"Hold up there Hikaru old pal. Can't ya take a little joke here and there mate? So what's gotten our lad in a pickle?"

"It's not anything big. I just wanna ask if you know anything about a certain club. Do that and I'll owe you one, and quit the British accent,"

"わかりました!!!"

"That's a little too Japanese, don't you think?"

"Wakarimashita!!!"

"On second thought, can you do that in English? Our next class is with Samantha sensei. She'll flip if she hears us,"

"Okay got it!!! So what club are we talking about here? Is that your punishment? You need to join a club if not to be expelled?"

"Yes, and I'm on lockdown for about a month. So no going anywhere. I can't skip class or anything,"

"Okay, from what I've guessed, it's not a club you already know. Don't tell me it's a failing club. Most of the known clubs are jam-packed,"

"I guess this will be easier since that club stuck out like a sore thumb. Do you know anything about the Okey Dokey Literature Club?" Hikaru finishes his meal and notices Kaoru's long pause and a pat on his back indicating the weight of his situation

"Well, Hikaru, it was nice while it lasted. Just kidding. Of course, it's well known. Have you heard of the four heavenly babes?" Kaoru's eyes began to glimmer when he asked him that very alarming question

"No! Are they related to the four heavenly kings in Buddhism? Sure sounds like it, or is it their title given by the students?" He responded without any hint of care for their titles which are shown in his lifeless eyes

"You got that right. Their reference to those four. But the reason is that these girls have been here since elementary. You heard that right, Morrisoge High has students from kindergartener to college!"

"Bruh just skip the trivia session. I asked for them personally. Not the school, I need to know what I'm about to face," Kaoru gave him a thumbs up to his comment and proceeded where he left off

"So these four girls are so beautiful. And as they age, they just get better. The shy Yoru, the prickly Matsuri, the idol Sayaka, and the bubbly Iori," As Kaoru began to point out each girl's key traits Hikaru began to wander off in his mind upon hearing their names

'Sayaka, Matsuri,Yoru, and Iori huh? Sounds like a colorful bunch with how Kaoru seems to describe them. Seeing as this is a dating sim and all I suspect that this is another addition with this difficulty at its maximum. As for triggering this event, I assume it has something to do with me skipping classes until I got called by Akari Hanegawa,'

(Look on the bright side, Hikaru. You're still in school, all our progress wasn't wasted, and you got away with just a month. That's quite light considering you were away for at least a month, but I think they lower it down since you have good grades. On the plus side, you'll be with four girls reading, instead of a bunch of boys, what could possibly go wrong in that short time-)

'HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!'

Upon his realization, Hikaru screams as Fazriel's way of speech seemingly triggers a dark and chaotic memory he once buried. He screamed internally from the shock and all the hair in his body rose as if his very being was in danger. He finally remembered, a game he once played, a bloody, and fucked up game, thats more of a horror than a dating sim

(What's wrong? Why did you suddenly scream? I thought my head going to break from all that screaming)

'Fazriel I have something I want you to find. You're connected to the real world, right? Can you search something for me?'

(Sure what is it?)

'Can you go to the web and type "It's just a story about a guy and four girls in their love for literature, what could possibly go wrong?" and once you're done come back,'

Fazriel didn't question his request. For whatever reason, Hikaru suddenly bolted seconds ago without any concern. He disappeared for a second, and upon his return, silence remained; the angel was dumbfounded with the comparison. Something that shouldn't be possible came to fruition due to changing their names and as a tool for referencing that nightmare

(I don't feel so Okey Dokey)

'Me neither...'

...

6 hours later

The day easily went by and now Hikaru and his angel stood before the entrance to the den of horrors. They stand there for minutes, and when he is about to leave, he suddenly feels someone tugging on his uniform. He turns around to see a sparkly and cheery brown-haired girl with green eyes and a white-dotted blood-red bow holding her ponytail

"Oops sorry about that. I didn't mean to be rude but are you perhaps Hikaru Aoi? Hello there, nice to meet you, I'm Sayaka, this club's president," She reaches for Hikaru's arms without a care in his personal space and shakes them wildly with a big smile

(Careful, that things a Devil)

'You don't have to tell me twice. Just seeing her makes me nauseous. I wonder if I can survive this place for a month,'

(Be brave Hikaru!!!)
