saving Gabriel- Matchmaker quest 1.0- meeting Daniel
she woke up in a forest and there was a man she felt was familiar but she couldn't remember who he was and he couldn't remember either
but she was crazy like him- he had saved her from the lake she was drowning and everything she saw wasn't real and she had been in that forest that whole time she was lucky that he found her "what were you thinking diving into that lake? don't you know the legends?" he asked her
"I would be shown everything and I could save my brother-" she replied
"was your brother in the lake?" he asked
"I don't know- but I have to save him-" she replied and got up
"wait you're not going back to that lake unless you want to drown again" he replied
"Then I'll drown" she replied
"Please don't - I don't know who you are but I don't want to lose you either-" he replied
she turned around and saw the look on his face he was heartbroken
"what happened? if you can say-" she replied
"well the one I loved left me -again- he promised he stay with me but he left again why did I expect him to stay?-I don't get what I did wrong" he replied on the edge of tears
"you didn't do anything wrong and maybe he didn't want to leave you-" she replied
"he-he- didn't but-he still choose some else-why can't it just be me?" he replied
"Sometimes it's impossible to love just one person-" she replied
"I know but I've only ever loved him- I always did even when I knew he was a monster-" he replied
"that's because of your unconditional love for him-" she replied
"I know but what does it matter if he can't be with me? I know he always says that when you love someone the best thing is to let them go but I can't let go-" he broke into tears
"What was his name? and can you tell me more about him?" she asked
"Gabriel- he was an angel- and he always seemed as if he wasn't all there but I still loved him even though he had forgotten some things but when he remembered he left me and his promise was that he would never leave me again and he said he wouldn't break it but he did and I can't let go-" he replied and began sobbing
"He was an angel? did he have black hair and green eyes?-" she replied
his eyes widen "did you know him?"
"funny story he's my brother and he took care of me since I was six and I gave him a quest to get a boy to like him and his name was Daniel?" she replied
his eyes widen
"That's my name-I'm daniel-" he replied
"so it worked then you clearly love him- how long were you with him?" she asked
"three days-and 29 years ago I lost him and but he came back as Gabriel- and I know they aren't the same but I loved him just the same and he made that same promise and he knew about our past but not everything he didn't remember that he had stayed with me he only remembered leaving me he forgot that he had come back for me and he made the same promise-" he replied
"so you had a past life together?" she replied
"two actually- and in that life, he also came back to me but then he was killed by lucifer- and I killed him- he always told me that he loved someone else and left me and then came back he said that he did love me but no one lasts forever- and should have let go but when I saw him again I had to go after him and I was so glad I did and I had the best time with him- but that ended he fell into a deep sleep and didn't wake up until three days later and he told me he couldn't stay with me- and I had to let him go- but I barely had him and It wasn't fair- and I want him to come back but what if he never comes back? I should just let go-" he replied in tears
she wrapped her arms around him "I'll help you get him back I promise-" she replied
"you will? what if he doesn't want me anymore?" he replied
"I know that he still does he wished he ---- could have you both?" she replied
"dammit-he really is Gared- ha-he wanted to love us both- me and lucy-but in the end he choose me- and he let her go- but I'm not Gared I can't let him go and I only love him " he replied
"I'm so sorry-" she replied
"It's not your fault-" he replied
"I'll help you get him back -just trust me" she replied
"did you know lucy?-" he asked
"I didn't but she was my mother-" she replied
he made an weird face
"That-means-he-was in love with his mom-" he replied
"well she wasn't his mom yet and that was the past-" she replied
"I guess you're right-but I still want him back-" he said
"Then I'll help you get him-" she replied and started to walk away
"wait-" he replied she turned around
"What-" she replied "I know how to get him back-" he replied and ran after her "how?-" she replied "you have to have faith-" he replied and grabbed her hand "You have to trust me-" she replied
"I trust you-" he replied and suddenly they were in the woods but it was a different woods and suddenly they both bumped into someone
daniel bumped into gabriel
and she bumped into a man with brown hair and amber eyes
he helped her up and she felt her heart beat
but this man was probably taken-
and when gabriel saw daniel and vice versa they shouted eachother's name
"daniel?!" gabriel replied
"Gabriel?!" daniel replied
"I-didn't think you- how did you get here?" Gabriel asked
"her" Daniel replied pointing to her
"she better not be stealing him-" Gabriel replied
"um-do I not exist anymore?" he replied
he turned back to him and he felt all of the guilt set in
"I-I-I'm so sorry-daniel I-broke our promise-" gabriel replied
"gabriel-it doesn't matter what's important is that we have each other now right?" he replied
"but-um-I-I-Let him be my first-"Gabriel replied
"you--what?!" he shouted
"well-you didn't go all the way-" gabriel replied
"because you couldn't hold out long enough-" he replied
"I could have-" Gabriel replied
"you always go off into your fanstay land- and I have no idea where you go and scares me because you never respond right away and when it became three days-you ditched me for him I was scared of losing you again-but you just made it worse-"
"daniel-I'm sorry-I-I betrayed you-f*ck I'm worse than Gared- I let someone else f*ck me-because-you wouldn't-" he wrapped his arms around him and they were hugging "I know and I'm sorry-" he replied
"no it's okay-" he replied
and they held on to each other for several minutes
