Gu Mang turned around and raised her eyebrow. "Is anything the matter?"
"Nothing." Lei Cong replied as he fished out a lollipop from his pocket. "For you."
Gu Mang shot a glance at it and took it from him.
Seeing that she accepted his item, he was ecstatic. "Sister Gu Mang, did you know? When Grandpa and my parents heard that you are the nation's top scorer, their faces looked so bad. I had a difficult time trying to suppress my laughter."
Gu Mang did not respond as she continued to walk indolently.
"They're hilarious. Back then, they did not want you and Gu Si but now that you've become so amazing, they're trying to raise the topic of kinship with you." Lei Cong pouted.
His family really illustrated what snobbishness was. Sometimes, he could not even be bothered with them himself.
Gu Mang turned to look at him and laughed. "Be careful in case your dad hits you."
