CARL MOORE'S POV
After that night, Kim and I became the hottest couple in Boston. And I, the happiest man on earth. But this happiness was short-lived.
I visited Kim one night after work, but I met her absence.
"Good Evening Nanny Mae," I said to the old woman in the kitchen.
She had been the Nanny of Kim since her childhood and now works as the cook of the mansion. She was old but very strong and beautiful. And one peculiar thing that made her presence in the Mansion very lively was her smile but this time when she turned I didn't see it.
"Oh Sir Carl! Good evening!" She replied giving out an audible sigh.
"Sorry for sneaking up on you like this Nanny, but have you seen Kim around?"
"Not really Sir. She called me earlier saying she would be coming home late."
"She did? OK I will wait for her in the library. Please tell her I'm around immediately she comes in."
With that, I walked out of the kitchen and made my way up stairs.
It wasn't long before I heard someone literally banging the door.
Then they was a thump!
I shrugged thinking it was the main door, but when a scream came out right after, I knew something was going on there.
And trust me when I say this, I was totally not expecting 'that' when I opened the door.
Thick blood covered the polished white titles, it smell coating the air.
Mr. Bruce laid there choking in his own blood. Blood was gashing out from his chest but there was no trace of anyone in the room.
I rushed to him quickly and placed my hand behind his head raising it up a bit to stop him from choking to death.
I took out my phone to dial the 911 then I felt a firm grip on my hand. I turned my attention to the almost lifeless body of Mr. Bruce.
"I-I," He forced to let a few words out.
"Sir please relax, don't say anything yet. Everything's going to be alright." I said with the little hope I had left in me.
"Help!" I shouted.
I tried to stay focused, but I couldn't stand seeing Mr. Bruce suffer like that. I tried to do everything to ease his pain, but nothing helped. He had lost a lot of blood and it was too late.
"I made a mistake for trusting him. It should have been you. I am so sorry Carl." He bemoaned tears flowing down his face as the life he had left in him flew away slowly.
"Sir, I don't know what this is but please hang in there. Help is on the way." I assured and turned my attention to the door way.
"Help!"
"I t-trust y-ou C-C-Carl... Please take Care of Kim." He forced the last words out as he turned his head slowly to the right, let out his last breath and turned cold.
