Drowning deeper

After getting off from work, Erin went to the grocery to buy some ingredients that he will use to cook for Marc later. He decided to just forget about the whole thing. And try to patch things up as early as today. 

But he ended up waiting for longer than expected. Marc arrived late and non the less drunk. A woman even brought him home to make matters worst. 

The woman herself was a bit tipsy as well. 

"Oh, hi, you must be Erin," said Heidi and lent her hand for him to accept. "I'm Heidi, officially Marc's new business partner."

He can't help but scan Heidi's slightly disheveled yet elegantly intact features. Erin can't help but feel inferior to her in so many ways. Most importantly for being a woman that no man could dare to ignore.

His eyes then glanced to Marc. Is this the secret that he's been hiding for a while now?
