Meeting again after one month

Jia xin just got back home after the long day at work, she was so exhausted and tired.Tang ning wasn't home because she had to return her parents house, so jia xin was going to be home alone today.

She enters the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, she brought out the hamburger and microwaved it. Before she sat on the dining table and began to eat.

Jia xin was still not satisfied even after eating two burgers, but before she could think of getting another she felt nauseous. She immediately ran to the sink and vomited everything she just ate, she rinsed her face in the sink, before walking into her bedroom, she lost the appetite to eat anything.

She has been like this for the past couple of days, always feeling hungry and feeling nauseous afterwards. She walked into the bathroom and had a cold bath, before changing into her Minnie Mouse pajamas and decided to get some sleep. As she closed her eyes to sleep the handsome face of that man popped into her head again, it's already been one month but she still feels like it was yesterday. She shakes her hand to dispel the thoughts before she finally went to bed.

Meanwhile xi yi just arrived at the airport with his assistant, he has been away for a month he had things to take care of in country F.

"Have you gotten what i asked for" xi yi asked lang zhi as he stepped into the car.

"Yes sir everything is ready as you instructed" Lang zhi answered as he stepped on the accelerator.

Jia xin woke up really late, she had dark circles on her eyes, she was looking so weak. After going to bed yesterday, she woke in the middle of the night and could not sleep anymore because she kept puking. She finally managed to get dressed for work, she wore a black fitted skirt with a side cut which highlighted her figure even more,pairing it with a plain pink shirt and a white coat. She picked up her black loafers and put on, tying her silky hair into a messy bun,she picked up her bag and ran out of the house without looking at the mirror.

Today was the day for Jia xin to present her ad idea to the company who just signed a huge contract with the company she's working for. Jia xin hurriedly walked into the elevator when suddenly her phone rang as the elevator closed, she checked her phone and frowned at the screen after seeing the caller; she turned off her phone and waited for the elevator to open, few seconds later with a ding the door opened and she immediately walked out. Nearing the board room she took a deep breath and tried relaxing her nerves before walking to the huge door the guards opened the door and she calmly walked in bowing her head, her throat suddenly went dry as she straightened her body.

The whole board room was getting impatient waiting for a lowlife employee to arrive, xi yi was also starting to get irritated, how dare that person make them seat and wait for more than fifteen minutes already he was starting to get tired seating on the executive chair doing nothing he was tired of reading the file so he finally decided to go back to his office, he stood up from his seat to leave, all the board of directors also stood up as a sign of respect. He stopped in his tracks when he finally saw the person they have all been waiting for.

"She is so doomed"

" this silly girl how dare her make us all wait for her, let's see how the ceo will punish her"

"She's so stupid for coming here after making us wait for her who does she think she is"

All the board of directors began speculating how the ceo will punish her.

Xi yi was shocked to see this same girl from that unforgettable night but he was able to hide his shocked look.

Jia xin tensed up when she saw him, she thought whether he was going to expose her, but she was quick to bow her head and began to apologize.

" Am so sorry sir for coming late, am sorry i promise, that my presentation will be to your expectations just give me another ten minutes of your time i beg you sir"

" you want another ten minutes, ha! you must think your father own the company right..." the Vice President was stopped by xi yi midway through his ranting, xi yi swinged his hand motioning for them all to seat. The Vice President felt humiliated but there was nothing he could do since xi yi already asked them all to sit. They all slowly sat back down and watched as xi yi also took his seat.

Jia xin breath out a sigh of relief but that didn't stop her for being so embarrassed looking at xi yi, she suddenly felt nauseous but she fought it in.

After ten minutes of giving her presentation Jia xin turned pale, the board members were impressed by her so they concluded the matter after xi yi agreed to use her idea.

Jia xin walked out of the women's restroom after rinsing her face because she felt nauseous but there was nothing to puke out. Her face turned pale, she was even more weak compared to earlier. She was so shocked to see xi yi standing by the corridor with both hands in his pocket, he was indeed breath taking, but she thought he already forgot about that night since he allowed her leave the board room after the meeting.

Xi yi saw the beautiful woman of that night looking so pale and weak, her hands were even shaking. Was she sick,he thought to himself he slowly and elegantly walked towards her. Standing in front of her, he noticed her dark circles he frowned slightly.

"Sir, am sorry about the other night.. it really wasn't my intention to take advantage of you.."Jia xin was so embarrassed

" so you decided to runaway afterwards" xi yi was wondering what her brain was made of.

" am so sorry about that, i was just too embarrassed so i had to leave that day.." Jia xin felt sudden dizziness before she could steady her self she blacked out.

Xi yi was quick to hold onto her, he tried waking her up but his efforts seemed useless, he suddenly got worried, his assistant immediately walked in

" sir what happened " lang zhi asked worriedly

" prepare the car" xi yi carried Jia xin in his arms leaving the frozen lang zhi behind.

"Did boss.. he carried a woman in his arms!"

Lang zhi said to him self before running after xi yi.

They finally arrived at the hospital, while the doctor was busy running series of checks on her, xi yi got a call from his grandmother's butler so he had to leave immediately. The butler had told him that his grandmother had an heart attack and was dying, xi yi was smart he didn't believe him but he wanted to play safe than sorry so he left after instructing his assistant to settle everything with the doctor. Lang zhi was still wondering whether his boss actually liked this woman or just felt sorry for her.

Meanwhile old madam wang just walked Dylan, a young businessman who was handsome tall and most of all he had a very approachable aura out of the house. Old madam wang has a very strong bond with Dylan she treats him like her own grandchild. Dylan was born in China but he grew up in the states but he could still speak Chinese fluently.

"Did you call him " old madam wang asked the butler after seating on the luxurious sofa

" yes i did, he will be here soon"

The butler Replied immediately

" xi yi doesn't believe you he's only trying to play safe. Anyway it doesn't Matter as long as he appears before me i can handle the rest" madam wang was confident that she could get xi yi married as soon as possible.
