Lily.. What does she know?

"...I can't tell Natsuki." - She said, walking closer to my front door, knocking on the door.

*Natsuki's POV*

I opened the door and let her in, I looked at her face and noticed something was off, I asked: "Hey, what did you find at Monika's place?"

"Just some information about your encounter with Seth when you found out that Monika was in that.. nowhere place. And uh.. Nevermind, it doesn't matter."

I looked at her and said: "Anyway.. Regarding my plan.."

I told her the same plan I told Sayori, and she said: "Alright, we will have to go to tomorrow's club meeting though. And I have plans after school. Once I'm home, we can execute the plan."

I smiled and nodded in agreement. I then looked through the blinds and said: "It's getting dark.. We should rest for tomorrow."

"…Mind if we cuddle each other to sleep?" - Lily looked at me, rubbing her elbow.

"Not at all.. I need some company anyway.."

*The next day*

I woke up with Lily in my arms, I smiled and kissed her forehead, whispering: "Hey, we gotta get ready for school.."

"Mmm.. One more minute." - Lily pulled me closer.

I got surprised and cuddled her for just a few minutes longer and then got up along with her. I realized we slept with uniforms on, but you couldn't tell, unless I told you.

We got our bags ready, I went to the bathroom and wiped off my makeup from yesterday, putting on soft makeup now, I sensed Lily behind me and signaled with the blush brush if she wanted me to put makeup on her. She nodded so I did, I smiled since she trusted me.

We then went to school, Lily went to her classroom and I went to mine. I sat down and started doodling. I saw Narancia sit in the back of the class. I'm guessing him being undercover was successful, considering he was introduced as a new student.

It was History class, the teacher was talking about some historical location, then I perked my ears up when he said: "The village in ruins was once where important archeologists like Howard Carter lived, there are some mines in there that are still intact. It is nowadays dangerous to go into that area though."

I smiled and then heard a girl in the back of the class, more specifically my bully, whisper to her friends: "Hey, wanna check out that village after school?"

I turned to her, annoyed, saying: "Did you not hear the teacher? It's dangerous."

"Not like you can stop us anyway, freak." - She said, giving me a cocky smirk.

Seeing that smirk made my blood boil.. I then continued doodling, thinking to myself: "This girl is underestimating me.. Heh.. I'll put her in her place or my name ain't Natsuki Gushiken Brando."

*After class*

I made my way to the clubroom and got taken aback when Lily hugged before we both entered the room, along with Narancia. She then let go and Lily went to the closet, Narancia went to hang out with Sayori. I followed and glanced at Monika, who was talking to Atsui as usual. I rolled my eyes and we both sat down in front of the open doors of the closet.

Part of my manga collection was in front of us. I then asked Lily: "Okay! So which manga do you wanna start with? Parfait Girls, Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun, or My Hero Academia?"

She then pointed to the MHA manga and I smiled, pulling the first volume to my lap. We started reading and Lily rested her head on my shoulder.

*Monika's POV*

Monika was talking to Atsui and then glanced at Natsuki and Lily. Her eyes lost their shine for a second. Her gaze hardened until Atsui asked: "Monika, what's wrong?"

She then realized that her jealousy was taking over and soon snapped out of it, saying: "N-Nothing! S-Sorry, I was spacing out."

Lily noticed Monika's gaze and squinted. She wasn't paying attention to the manga volume anymore as Natsuki thought she was.

Monika powered up her keyboard and the holographic monitor appeared in front of her. She started shifting through the files and everything to distract herself, while also glancing at Lily as the monitor was semi-transparent.

Lily then pulled me closer and I looked over at her, I smiled and then noticed she was leaning for a kiss.

Monika caught Lily but couldn't make any reactions, she knew that would get her in a mess.

"They.. They kissed.." - Monika thought to herself while looking at them, the shine in her eyes didn't return.

Her mind was filled with anger but she didn't express any of it. Instead, she turned to Atsui who was worried and whispered, "I'm sorry..", then kissed her lips softly, holding her cheek softly.

Lily let go of the kiss, I was blushing, she was looking down and said: "Sorry. I need a minute.", Lily then stormed out of the classroom, with anger filling her to the brim, her fists clenched.

Monika let go of the kiss slowly, blushing, and hugged Atsui, who was now a blushing mess. She (Monika) then noticed that Lily walked out of the classroom and said: "Sayori, take over for me for a minute.."

There were bangs. Monika walked out of the classroom and saw Lily banging her head against the wall, trying to calm herself somehow.

"What was that about?" - Monika asked, crossing her arms.

"...What? I just kissed Natsuki, I love her."

"....Ah."

"But I do know you don't want that to happen. So I'll ask you for your blessing. Will you let me date your ex-girlfriend, Monika Koide Nicolaides? I mean.. We both know that.. you are hiding behind a mask."

Monika looked at her speechless. She began thinking to herself: "What.. What does this girl know..? She.. No.."

Lily turned to Monika, her forehead bleeding from banging her head on the wall. She gave her a smile, but somehow, the smile she gave Natsuki was heartwarming but the one she was giving Monika.. almost seemed threatening.

"...You.. Promise me you'll take good care of her?"

"I promise. She is a fragile girl who contains a lot of power in her hands. She brings me comfort, I wouldn't want to ruin that."

Lily's presence was menacing, her sweet words were honest but her aura was hard to read.

"....Alright then, I'll allow it." - Monika's shine in her eyes returned, so did her smile.

Lily's aura switched from threatening to welcoming in a second. She smiled at Monika, a soft smile but still emotionless when it came to her eyes.
