They’re moving!

During the rehearsals, Naomi noticed Alex a little more distant, Almost like old days. Creaking her head to the side, she gently touches Zac's arm." Come on, we can slip out while no one is watching, "She whispered carefully, dragging him to the exit.

When they got outside, Zac looked at her." Where are we supposed to meet Todd?" He asked, beginning to walk with her around the venue. Naomi gazed around the area before she grabbed Zac's hand pulling him to the back beside the dumpsters.

A young boy who looked about in his mid-twenties stood with his hands in his hoodie. He had shaggy, slightly curly, black hair and stone grey eyes. He wore circular glasses, that sort of gave him a Harry Potter look. Naomi walked up to the boy," Todd! Look at you! Coming out of your lair is a big accomplishment…" she giggled lightly ruffling his hair as she took the files he held out to her. Todd shrugged her off before looking at Zac.

Slowly stepping forward, Todd tilted his head before looking at Naomi."You are right! Way cuter in person…" He said with a grin as Naomi's face lit up red. "Todd!" Naomi whines a bit covering her flushed cheeks. Todd laughed," If you don't make a move I will." He winked at Zac and spun on his heels.

"Anyways! We were dead on the nail with this one, but knowing who he is… you know it'll be hard to talk to him. You should tell Kaia this tonight," Todd pulled up his hood." see you guys," he said with a wave but halted and looked back." Oh as a gift to Kaia, I may have arranged a meeting at Crestfall Industries for foreign board members. So no one from there will attend tomorrow." With that Todd walk off leaving Zac and Naomi.

Zac smirked and stepped closer to her adjusting his glasses, nudging her like she usually does to him." So you think I'm cute?" He asked with a grin. He liked hearing it. Naomi flushed brighter red hiding her face with the files. She walked past Zac embarrassed. Zac chuckled following her, "it's ok! I think I'm cute too! If I say so myself," He joked with a smug grin.

Naomi hid the files in her car before returning to the rehearsal. They finished the ceremony and were now seated for the rehearsal dinner. A few friends and family said a few words before they began to eat. Alex couldn't bear it, so he asked to be excused, saying he had company matters to attend to. Zac followed him and then Naomi definitely wasn't going to stick around.

Naomi left the ceremony and went back home. Kaia sat on the couch with a wine glass in her hand. Alexa was already asleep in the room Naomi always kept for her. Kaia smiled looking up."Want some?" she asked, holding the bottle up. Naomi smirked and grabbed a glass from the cabinets before sitting with Kaia.

Pouring Naomi a drink, Kaia looked at her." So where's Rose?" She asked taking a sip. Naomi made a sour face and drank half of the glass letting out a sigh."Her dad talked her into living with him as she finished school. She still calls me every other night, so it's ok," Naomi said, her voice betraying her emotions. Kaia could see the loneliness that lingered on Naomi.

Kaia set her glass down."So you met with Todd? "She asked, her eyes tracing the folder in her hands. Naomi blinked and quickly nodded, holding the folder out to her."We have everything we need… Also, we found out who your biological father is." Naomi drank the rest of her wine as Kaia opened the folder reading the contents. Kaia had to read the page twice before she looked up at Naomi confused."You have to be kidding me!" Kaia stuttered from shock as she looked up at Naomi.

Naomi nodded, "want another drink?" She said with a smirk, topping off her glass. Kaia placed the files down and drank her wine.

The next morning Naomi was in the kitchen pouring coffee for herself and Kaia. She had her phone tucked between her head and shoulder."You are going to the church? Okay." Naomi frowned lightly seeing Kaia come into the room. She quickly put her fingers to her lips, indicating for her to keep quiet. Kaia blinked but nodded, taking one of the cups in her hand.

Naomi put the coffee pot down, taking the phone in her hand."I'm sorry Alex, she hasn't contacted me. " Kaia froze hearing his name but bit her lip slipping back to Naomi's room.

Naomi hung up with Alex and texted Zac to let him know their current moves. Zac was with Alex heading to the church.

Naomi walked into the room, and up behind Kaia who was sitting at her vanity. Naomi ran her fingers through Kaia's hair."Are you ready?" Kaia smiled nodding to her through the mirror. Alexa ran in with a big smile, "I'm ready!!" Kaia and Naomi both laughed lightly. Naomi started to curl Kaia's hair while Kaia was doing Alexa's.

Once at the church, Alex was directed to his room. Alex and Zac got ready and sat in the room with each other. Zac stood momentarily and checked out the door before closing it. He walked over to Alex holding out tiny alcohol bottles that are usually found in hotels. Zac grinned, "A little bit of liquid courage, to help." Alex was stunned but grinned," See this is why you are my best man." Alex downed one bottle." At least you would've been. Kaia would have let you…" he mumbled before drinking another bottle.

Alex didn't drink too much. He went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth to cover the smell of alcohol. Just as Alex returned to the room, his phone went off. Alex blinked and pulled out his phone, the caller ID read. "Unknown" 

Alex pushed the talk button then placed his phone to his ear, "Hello?" Alex heard some static then a small voice. Alexa was on the other end of the phone. She crinkled a candy wrapper near the receiver. "Dad—-dy! I —ove yo—" Alexa cut her words out on purpose trying not to giggle. Alex's heart ached, "Alexa? Baby your phone is going out." Alexa crinkled the paper again. "Mu—-my and I —- moving," she said before hanging up the phone.

Alexa turned her head to look at Kaia."Mommy are you sure it's ok to make daddy worry so much?" Kaia smiled, kissing her forehead." If I told Daddy the plan, then he would have let Mi Sung off the hook. Having you melted his heart, now he's a big goop of love," Kaia smiled and took the phone.

Alex froze, flabbergasted. He frowned and went back to the room." Zac! They're moving! Find out where. I can't lose them!" He pleaded, handing his phone to Zac."It's the unknown number." Zac nodded and took the phone, slipping it in his breast pocket. "I'll do what I can; I'll also call Naomi." Alex nodded as Zac left the room walking down the hall. He pulled out his phone dialing Naomi."Alright, it went as planned, let's get ready for phase two," he said, then swiftly hung up the phone.
