Hazel's cabin fever continued. In two weeks she only made it out of the house for groceries and to attempt to build an igloo with Will when she thought she would lose her mind from being inside.

Another snow storm had made it nearly impossible to get down the mountain but people still had lives and jobs. They couldn't be stuck forever.

Marissa's children had two snow days in a row, which Hazel only knew because they had gone snowmobiling past her house during the middle of the school day when she was downstairs getting lunch. She ended up waving to them through the window. Only Benji saw her and waved back.

Building an igloo was more of a challenge than she would have anticipated. She might be good at making clay pots but she was no engineer. Will was the one who figured out how to do it after consulting his phone.
