The grand showing
-Harry pov -
After I sent out the invitations to the first ever showing of the theifs grand hall I began to plan more on my next moves. I currently hold down a solid foundation in Knockturn Alley, I am getting some stores and other property in other magical areas like Frances Place cachée.
I want to slowly move from inside the Magical World to the muggle one, some organizations did it like I am and some did it backward. For example, the Bratva in the muggle world came to be around 1980 but the wizarding version of it was around before, they just started to branch out.
I plan to be the guy everyone goes to when they need something, flavored blood? I got you! A place to hide out from the Aurors? I know a place! Of course, each of my types of buildings will have specific functions, the hotels for keeping other criminals safe like the continental, the bars for all of my new drinks, and the merchant shops for the miscellaneous items.
From there I can branch out into the mundane world and maybe I can be the kingpin of London.
But before that, I think I need to officially kick start my official spy network. some people choose house-elves for spies but me? I chose snakes.
I bought fifty snakes from around several shops magical and muggle. They were cheap only like five sickles each. I then had a nice and easy conversation with them and basically said 'hey if you spy for me I will feed you like kings.' and with my race as part basilisk the snakes think I am their king.
Speaking of being part basilisk I need to get rid of that rooster problem, I have been looking into it since I became an animagus but surprisingly enough the damn thing was harder to solve than I thought. I would simply never be able to show my face in the afterlife if I get killed by a rooster.
Right now I have made a decent ritual-based rune circle that will use my blood along with rooster blood and then the rooster will be consumed by my blood and magic freeing me of my mortal weakness. But, I also want a Phoenix feather and tear. I have a feather but not a tear.
Speaking of Phoenix I wonder what happened to Fawkes, now that Dumbledore is dead I bet that freed up a lot of time for the guy.
I mean there is no way in hell Fawkes actually enjoyed staying perched up like that for days at a time, I bet the old manipulative bastard made sure Fawkes was sitting there majestically for every important meeting.
[days passed]
A couple of days have passed since I sent the invites out, and I am currently reviewing the ritual I designed to banish the weakness of rooster crows I am reviewing it each day for seven days seven times a day. It might seem foolish and paranoid but I do not want this ritual to fail.
My business is also going well I haven't had any run-ins with the Italians or Russians yet but I can see each one hiding near my shop for surveillance.
I want to hire more people so that I can actually make some moves without the worrying feeling of losing one of the few employees I have.
I should work on that after my showing of the grand hall.
-Narrator pov -
As Harry planned and got ready for the first-ever showing of the prestigious theifs grand hall the guests were also getting ready. For the wizarding world people, It is not every day that Harry Potter invites you to attend a showing of all of the things he has stolen. And for Yao aka the ancient one, it is not every day someone can 'break' into Kamar-Taj, and for the Asgardian God of mischief Loki, he is extremely interested in what this mortal will show him.
Nick Fury was thinking of a way to arrest Harry during the showing but every time he gets an idea he remembers another stupid wizard spell.
A very very old couple was sitting in their living room acting like kids in a candy store.
"I can't wait to see this 'Grand Hall'" the man said
"I too am excited! Now how do you think he got the invitations to us?" she asked lightly
"I'm not sure, although I think we should be more worried about him going after the stone." He replied
And she nodded back
[day of the event]
Everyone with an invention held onto it ready to see this showing Harry has prepared.
*pop*
Everyone disappeared from their homes or offices in Fury's case and found themselves in a long corridor.
"Hahahahahha! My pup really knows how to show off!" barking laughter was heard
"Shut up Sirius let's walk," said a blond women
As they began to walk so did the others.
"So what's your name?" Sirius asked a bald dude
"Nick Fury," he replied honestly he wasn't sure if Harry would expose him if he used a fake one
"Nice, how do you know Harry?" Sirius asked
"I'm trying to arrest him," Fury replied seriously
"Ha hah hahaha!"
In another conversation,
"Loki, what is an Asgardian doing here?" Yao asked
"Ancient one, I am here for the tea of course," Loki replied with a sly grin
Soon all of the guests made it to the viewing room.
"Welcome to the Thief's Grand Hall! I have made sure to display all of my recently acquired items. Magic cannot be used here, there shall be no fighting and have some fun," Harry said with a smile
-Harry Pov -
I watched as the guest paired off a started to admire my items. Some tried to cast a simple Lumos just to check and see if I would lie and the spell obviously didn't work.
I saw Yao look surprised that she couldn't access dimensional energy and Loki looked like he was personally attacked.
I began to walk toward some of my guests when I heard, "Bloody Hell! He has the founder's items!"
A smile broke out on my face as I continued my course.
"Mr. and Ms. Flamel it is a pleasure to see you," I said with a wide smile
"Harry Potter, it is a pleasure being here although I wonder how you got the invitation to us?" Nicholas asked
"Trade secret, although I am happy you two are doing well last time I heard of you Albus told me you two wanted to die after I broke the what I am assuming fake philosophers stone," I replied
"Yes it was a fake, that young man was such a pain," Perenelle Flamel replied
"Aha, well I just wanted to say hi so please enjoy the sights," I said kindly
"Yes we will, I'm most interested in the founder's items," Nicholas replied
As they walked away I said, "oh you two might want to go talk to the Hat,"
They both smiled and nodded. Apparently, the Hat knows the Flamels I don't know how but he does.
I looked around to see who I should talk to next and I saw Sirius, Narcissa, and Remus chatting away.
I began to walk over once I got close I heard Sirius say, "Where have you been?"
"You know here and there," Remus replied calmly
"Probably off sneaking about," I said with a small smile
The three all turned to me. Sirius smiled and said, "Harry long time no see,"
"How have you been Harry?" Narcissa asked
"Harry? haven't seen you in forever!" Remus added
"I have been good thank you for asking Cissy, and how have you been Sirius? Remus how have you been?" I asked with a small thin smile
That werewolf fucker has been trying to spy on my shops! Here and there my ass!
"I have been good just enjoying my time," Remus replied vaguely
"I have been good pup, I have started to invest and really bring the Black family back to its former glory and soon it will surpass that," Sirius said
"I have been wonderful I have been taking healer classes and working with Sirius in improving the family," Narcissa replied with a beautiful smile
"That's great I'm glad you are following your dreams and Sirius I'm glad you are improving your family name once more. Remus, maybe you should visit one of those new bars in knockturn alley I heard they cater to vampires and werewolves it could be fun." I replied
"Oh I must get going to talk to my other guests," I told them with a smile
I began to walk toward Loki and Yao when I spotted Fury glaring at me, I sent him a wink and a cocky smile and continued walking toward the Asgardian and the Sorcerer.
"Yoa! Loki good to see you two!" I greeted the two jovially
"Good to see you Mr.Potter or should I say, Lord Potter?" Yao asked respectfully
"So you are the mortal who invited me," Loki said
"Just call me Harry, and yes Loki I invited you," I replied
"Okay Harry, I have to say this collection is fine but what I wonder about the most is how you managed to make it so I cant use sorcery in here," she said
"Yes, mortal how come I can't use my magic," Loki said with a sneaky grin
I gave them both a grin and replied, "trade secret,"
"Hahaha I like you mortal," Loki said with a smile
"How disappointing, I shall go and walk around you two talk," she said before walking away
"So Loki does Asgard have anything to add to my collection?" I asked calmly
He snorted and said, "I'm sure we can think of something,"
"Haha, I have always wanted to steal from Asgard,"
"And I have always wanted an accomplice even if you are mortal," Loki said jokingly
"Why did you write 'or is it?' after my last name?" Loki asked
"Hmm, you sure you want to know?" I asked
"Tell me, mortal," he replied
I just baited Loki..
"Well it's simple really you're real name is Loki Laufeyson."
