Hargreaves and the Doom Machines

The Plot Serenity Negrasario and Mariopole Barnaby did exceedingly well in securing the sovereign integrity of the kingdom of Oud from external aggression on a distant planet with their sword and divination tools. While the former doubles as an Oracle and a renowned Sorceress, the latter is a warlord of impeccable capabilities, whose prowess with the sword in the battlefields has impressed his imperial majesty, Horowits Bachittar and therefore pencilled him down for the award of a prestigious title of the land. To perfect this, the warlord must get himself a befitting woman to compliment his new rank. Without delay, His imperial majesty, Horowits Bachittar assembled all the beautiful bachelorette in the kingdom of Oud at the general's discretion to choose from the array of virgins paraded before him but the worrier failed to come up with a suitable choice from the bevvy of delicious spinsters paraded before him because they all fall short of the heroine qualities he desires in his ideal woman. In a dramatic move, Mariopole Barnaby raised many eyebrows by pointing in the direction of His imperial majesty's princess-like Oracle, Serenity Negrasario, who is an embodiment of the credential he looks out for in his woman of dreams. Mariopole is aware that the customary laws of the kingdom of Oud forbade the Oracle to partake in this kind of contract. To please his general, His majesty, Horowits Bachittar manipulated the laws to suit the moment but Serenity Negrasario stood her grounds and refused to give in to the demands of the warlord.Serenity Negrasario, the enchanting Sorceress went on a mutiny; using the advantage accrued to her as the Oracle and guardian of Oud, send the planet of Cerium crashing into the sun, incinerating everything there-in and then set sail into a distant planet called Mars and tried to kill powerful young man who silently rules the planet and failed to recognised her. Sensing his life was in danger, dispossessed her of her treasured possession in a fierce battle and fly away billions of miles into the future. Out of sheer greed and strong headedness, the Sorceress went after him with a promise of inflicting him with the sorrows of Armageddon wherever he goes but she ended up on another planet on which one of its leaders is Mariopole Barnaby the one whom she denounced as a life partner in the planet of Cerium and sent to be charred in the Sun, eight thousand years ago happens to be the ruler of one of the powerful nations on that planet. He has grown ten folds tougher than what he used to be in Cerium. Technologically, he has the upper hand. The titan whom Serenity Negrasario thought to be dead, launched himself out of the ill-fated planet and migrated to the safe bosom of Uranium and has spread his tentacles far, even further than the ordinary eye could see. The ugly development threw Serenity Negrasario out of the frying pan to fire. But no worries, for the r remorseful but unrepentant Sorceress, has a dubious plan up her sleeves. She immediately bows before the evolved Mariopole and atoned for the treasonable act she has committed against him, Mariopole found the one but too many assaults difficult to forgive. After a marathon due consultations, Mariopole Barnaby let the thought of vengeance go with the wind. Now that the Sorceress has secured unconditional pardon and is back in the general's good books, she planned to join forces with him to cause irreparable damage to Gandola and after she has achieved her aim she plans to send Mariopole back to the sun to be permanently destroyed by it and take over the rulership of the Universe. Gandola, who reincarnated on another planet called Earth, has grown stronger and realised all of his powers and has become a formidable force, made the evil wishes of Serenity Negrasario not to see the light of day as he wreaked havoc on the Dooms Day Machines with the help of her inventions, reverting them thousands of years into pre-civilization.

Chapter 4 The unforeseen Transit

Dildo, an elementary school pupil is counting the number of stars in the sky in a Necromonger tongue through the lenses of a gigantic telescope at a Uranium observatory station: "mindong, Vul, Kun, Feer, paat…"

The lad comes here every working day of the week during school closing hours to spend some time with his father, Kroaca, who is a quantum Physicist, monitoring all that he does. He is determined to inherit his father's glowing achievements at the observatory site, but not his disgusting foibles of gluttony.

"Woah!" Yelled Dildo. as he captured a once in a lifetime of colossal fireworks from deep space sending blinding lights into the Necromonger's delicate eye, making him breathe faster, and over-excited at his findings. He removed his eyes from the lenses and rubs them vigorously with his two hands and quickly restores them.

"Ooh my God, daaad!" moaned Dildo the loudest. "You need to see this one."

"What is it, son?" Asked his father absentmindedly.

"Something phenomenal just zoomed past the lenses of the telescope." His father tore a mouthful of flesh from the lap of a lamb held in his hands and said to his son, "find it, Dildo."

"Okay, dad." Dildo went silent for some time and then pops his surprise findings to his dad in a knee-jerk reaction: "Tadaaa! I got it, dad."

"Good boy," complemented his father. "Now, will you stop being hyper feverish and describe to me how exactly this 'ordinary' thing looks like?"

"point of correction, dad: 'extraordinary!'

Dildo repositioned himself for a better balance and began his explanation:

"Em, it looks like a giant Dracula Parrot, and again it looks like an angel, covered in black feathers, descending in spiral form and followed by a cloud of stardust, aiming to the magnetic fields of Uranium."

"Aiming for the magnetic field of what?"

"You heard me right the first time dad."

Kroaca threw away the bone in his hands and shove his son aside and fixed his eye into the lenses.

"Holy grail!" He cried. Kroaca plucked his eyes away from the lenses and tries to run faster to the window but his obese nature wouldn't allow him to do that. Slowly but surely, Kroaca got to the window and flung them wide open but could not find what he was looking for. "Too much f…king brightness," he cursed. He retraced his steps back to his desk and punched three figures into a screen and waits. While he waited, his fingers rap on the table; all tensed up, waiting to divulge all that he had seen to the receiver. Shortly afterwards, a picture of a clownish man appeared on the screen with his legs on his desk and his body in a laid back position in his chair, munching carrots, "hellooo," he hailed in a slow rhythmic manner.

"Wake up, fool!" Barked Kroaca, "how comes the reader under your care failed to detect what has just stolen into our airspace?"

Pinkett eyed Kroaca, imagining he was a carrot and breaks into uncontrollable hysteria, and continued to laugh until he laughed to his heart's satisfaction then mocked Kroaca saying, "are you mistaking a bird for an alien ship, cunt? Let me tell you something you don't know: This rader is one of a kind; it is capable of detecting signals from the stealthiest of starships as tiny as an atom and as far away as Pluto. In case you have forgotten, which I know you have, this piece of technology is as reliable as the Sun..."

While Pinkett converses on the phone with Kroaca, the door to his office is being rampantly kicked by several boots until he opens it and in cones a large contingent of armed Necros.

Meanwhile from the outside, a multitude of warplanes from the two kingdoms of Kazakh and Dinka were sent to intercept the Phantasmagoric beings orbiting their airspace. The creature which looks like a black angel used its high-powered wings to slow its self down for its maiden landing at a fiercely guarded border town between the two and only arch-enemy kingdoms on the planet of Uranium.

The creature's compound eyes sank and the real ones re-emerged, and its armadillo scales that protected it from the harsh weather of space wraps up gradually in retrospect, beginning from the head and down to its toes, revealing the face of a beautiful woman. A sizable number of unarmed Necromonger natives mistaken the beautiful alien and her entourage for exotic animals thereby slicing the throats of her entourage and had their flesh eaten raw. The only one that escaped being lynched was the leading female; she looks extremely cute in her long dark hair and cute cat-like bluish eyes.

"Where is he?" Bawls the strange woman. The Necros were astounded to hear her speak in a different tongue. They stared at each other, wondering what to tell her. The newcomer understood they did not understand the language she communicated to them, so, she used her talons to write in her palm and speak to them again: "Where is Hargreaves?" Again, they were taken aback by how fast and accurate the alien speaks their dialect.

A male Necro stepped forth and answered her, "don't you have little courtesy left in you, evil woman? You cannot barge into our colony and treat us with contempt, besides, we don't know who you are talking about."

The woman fumes bitterly. She gathers the pent-up annoyance from the insult and the inconveniences caused to her by Hargreaves and charges towards the Necro in a flash, hitting him hard at the centre of his head with a hard knock and stand aside and watch him fall like a giant log.

The timely arrival of an influential figure amid large cavalry stopped what would have been a bloodbath at the scene. The stately dressed man wades through the crowd and issued a warrant for her arrest but changed his mind after seeing how grandiose her appearance is.

"The King of Kazakh ordered me to offer

you an escort to his palace," he said authoritatively.

King Dulaney Rumba who inspected her critically wondered why the paragon alien should possess such an obscene skin. "It could be a serious deformity," he confessed. So he ordered her to be quarantined by his chief priest for seven days and watch out for some sign of infection. After the prescribed period of segregation has elapsed, nothing manifested.

The cheering news was declared to the ruler and he was overwhelmed with happiness. The chief priest brought the alien woman before the king.

"So, a paragon like this is capable of existing." Retorted King Dulaney.

After reviving himself from the shock, he steps away from his throne and marched closer to the woman. "I thought I would live not to see this glorious day that was foretold long ago by my forefathers. What is your name and where do you come from?"

"My name is Serenity Negrasario, the God of the Martian Planet."

"Little wonder, my radars could not detect you. Speak no further, your lordship. Welcome to my world. I know you have more than enough to discuss with me." He turned to the royal courtiers and said to them,

"go and have your rest."

That day, King Dulaney Rumba renamed the paragon Pwasskop, meaning, throwing spears, and incorporated her into his household as one of his concubines.

"This has never happened before," said the royal servants. They were astonished to see their king blush for the very first time in the history of his reign.

Serenity Negrasario gave king Dulaney the impression she was the good one and the type to confide in. She displayed her intelligence and acclimatize quickly to the customs and traditions of her adopted world. This sweetened the king in no small measure, thereby, endearing her to him, but his other wives could not withstand the belittling treatment he accords them, the pure breeds of beings, with royal blood running in their veins. This triggered an unhealthy rivalry against Pwasskop. However, the powerful Sorceress remained levelled headed and referred to their futile struggle as 'petty bickering' of a should be servants in her world.

Pwasskop blindfolded the king with a rose-tinted glass and told him so much about the world she came from. King Dulaney fell to her trap, he was smitten and full of love to her.

Now that Pwasskop is assured of the king's support, the prospect of finding Hargreaves burns bright. The Sorceress approached him in his royal chamber one night and said to him: "There is a human I desperately searching for, his name is Hargreaves. This youngster has stolen from me all that I have and had my world caved in. He is believed to be hiding somewhere among your subjects, or lurking somewhere in the hills of Uranium; he is dangerous and armed to the teeth. He is capable of wedging war against the two kingdoms on Uranium and win easily. He has got powers that is unrivalled by any army in the universe. Align with me and let's find him and destroy him before it's too late for us."

King Dulaney Rumba boils within but how, however, restraint himself from losing his temper.

"First of all," he said, "I have forgiven you for insulting the king and the Messiah of Necromancy for telling into his face that a mortal human is unrivalled by anyone in the universe, including him. The second insult I find hard to take in was the allegation of the presence of a mortal being living in my world, and among my subjects without my knowledge. In other words, who you are looking for does not exist here, if he does, his hiding place will reject him, and my people will find him and bring him before me.

After rejecting her request, the Sorceress sulks and embarked on a hunger strike and wouldn't want anything to do with King Dulaney again.

The frosty relationship between Pwasskop and Dulaney continue to degenerate for the worse. When the news fell on the ears of his rival, Mariopole Barnaby, he was delighted, and at once, summoned Van Doren.
