System (part - 1)

"Right...! Let's Start!"

Soon, the scenery around them started to fade.

It was very bright at first, forcing me to close my eyes.

When I opened my eyes, the beautiful scenery was transformed into flat white walls. It was flat from all sides except the front.

There was a flat TV at the front. It was in the exact middle of the wall. Covering half of the whole wall.

Looking closely, there were pictures of some common things, such as oil, rice, and a torch.

Their name and price were written in front of them.

'But wait a minute, can I buy a torch?'

Moon's voice caught my attention. "As you can see, you can buy things from here. Just like online shopping, but the currency is  gold."

Hearing her words, I looked again at the 58-inch TV screen. But more carefully.

'There is a price written in front of them. No wonder I thought it was cheap. But it isn't cheap, but rather a different currency. Instead of a [¢], there is a [¥] written in front of the price. It must be what that girl Moon called [gold currency!' I nodded my head at the moon.

I tilted my head, looking at her while blinking. "Did you mean gold coins or something?"

"It's something like that. [Gold] is used as currency by the system."

"You will immediately get [gold] according to half of your actual net worth." Said Moon.

"This is the job of the higher-ups; we can't do anything to refute it but do our job quitely." Moon shook her head.

"Leaving these things aside, go to the [balance] option and check your money."

Looking at the big screen in front of her, she found [balance] in a high place, and looking at her body, she couldn't help but sweat.

She looked at Moon and said, "Umm, how do I do it? My legs and arms can't reach  it.

Moon rolled her eyes 'troblesome human' and said, "Use your mental power!"

"M-Mental power..?" Su Yun was a little confused. She knew about the concept of mental power but didn't know how to use it or apply it to other things.

Moon wanted to vomit blood at this idiotic human's stupidity but somehow managed to control herself.

"Focus carefully on the thing you want to click on. Due to being connected to a system, your mental power is 10 times that of a normal human being."

Su Yun listened carefully to her and moved her legs to sit in a cross-legged position on the white floor with her eyes closed. She began to put her mental power to use by meditating.

5 minutes had passed... But it showed no sign of changing.

10 minutes, 60 minutes, 100 minutes, but finally, after the whole 2 hours of mediation, the TV screen finally changed.

It showed her total money in her account.

[Total gold: 105]

'105 gold that I guess was my earnings...' I thought while looking down. Suddenly, I heard a ding. I hurriedly shifted my gaze to the screen.

[Congratulations on getting 500 gold as a joining bonus.]

[Total gold = 605]

She barely got up with her sore legs and shackily managed to move her sore legs towards Moon.

She gritted her teeth, looking at the moon. Moon had felt asleep while she was working hard for two whole hours. 'No wonder the weird noises stopped after her 10 minutes of mediating.'

She was angry, but she knew she couldn't offend Moon. She put a stone in her heart and woke up Moon by shaking her.

It took Moon a whole minute to come to her senses after waking up. "You done..?" Moon asked Su Yun. Her voice was a little raspy. Su Yun nodded.

"Well, that's good. Let me explain other things also: The dawn will happen in less than an hour in the outside world."

Su Yun flinched a little. 'I almost forgot that I was in my dream...or inside a dream-like place, but just what's happening inside wasn't a dream but reality!'

"If you practice consistently, you will do better things with your mental power than an ordinary human being could ever think of." Moon smirked to herself.

"There are also gifts per level up. Go to [Profile] to check your level." Moon said.

Su Yun used her mental power to exit the [balance] and click on the [profile].

Something like this has shown up. Almost everything was known to her except level and experience. Those were only useful things for her to know.

She subconsciously smiled, looking at the screen. She practically wanted to jump around in joy, but due to the moon being near her, she controlled herself. 'Yes..! Finally, I will be able to buy something from this misterious supermarket,' thought she.

"Don't get too excited; I am not done yet." Said Moon broke Su Yun's sweet fantasy.

She rolled her eyes and really started listening to Moon's words.

"Now that you know how much [gold] you have, you want to use it somewhere, right? But before that, let me tell you some important rules." Said Moon.

"Rules...?" She didn't want to say it out loud, but it just unconsciously slipped from her mouth.

"Yes rules.. These are some common rules all transmigraters need to listen to."

"What if somebody broke the rule?" Su Yun just asked out of curiosity, but...

"The system won't let it do such a thing, but if it happens, the rule-breaker might have to pay a heavy price." Her face was very, very dark.

Su Yun couldn't help but shiver at her cold expression.

The moon suddenly smiled brightly. "So don't you dare to break it...?"

Su Yun nodded. But her mind was thinking, 'How narastic this girl is!'
