Setting Up The Shops

I wanted everything I was doing to be done by the end of the year because I had plans of travelling and exploring the world on my own. I was craving an independent life which had never been in the cards for me but now with the system, it seemed inevitable. I called Mr. Donalds to make an appointment concerning the villa and we were able to schedule it to noon. After the call, I had no other plans so I decided to register with the gym in the neighbourhood and continue my fitness journey since I already put points in my physique and all I had to do was do less with bigger results. I put on a tank top and track track suit and headed to the gym. Upon reaching there, I made enquiries at the front desk and paid upfront for three months because that was how long I planned on staying. I got the gym membership card and an athletic looking coach who I paid to be my personal trainer showed me around the gym and discuss what exactly I wanted to achieve. After a while, he drew up a fitness plan and we started on it that morning and went on an intense exercise for an hour before he stopped us for the day because we had to limit the amount since this was the first day. After I came back home and showered, it was already past eleven and I immediately headed out to the address Mr. Donalds sent me. I got a few minutes before the appointed time and after reporting that I had an appointment, I was directed to his office. Actually there wasn't much to do except inspect the layout and make necessary changes before hand. I saw that it a huge six bedroom villa with two floors, a pool and a huge backyard. The only change I made was that one of the rooms be made kid friendly. I signed the necessary documents and paid the amount in full because I wanted to check it off my expense list and have a no further financial obligations to the house until I got it. We had a chat for a while before I left left and headed back home. As I was sitting on the couch with nothing to do, I decided to check on how my book was doing. I opened the app and imagine my surprise when I saw that my book was featured on the main page and it was trending. I opened the author's account and I saw that ever since the book took off, it hadn't slowed down all this while and was still showing an upward trend. It was going further than I thought it ever would and i really was amazed. I further clicked on the revenue and I saw that I was making a lot money just from the gifting and unlocking of premium chapters in the book. I even saw that I was qualified for ads promotion on my book for commissions. Since these ads were not pop ups or obstructive, I immediately approved and didn't know how much that would bring me. As of now I had already earned 150 thousand after splits and estimated that the money would skyrocket after the ads was added to the accounts. This good fortune came at the right time because I was wondering how I would explain where the money came from and the timing of this whole thing was perfect. At least until the end of the year would be sufficient to finish up on everything. Now that the explanation part was guaranteed, I had to get help to set up the shops because I didn't even know how I would go about it. I started going through my memory for people that qualified for the job and also deserved it because even when we had been treated discriminately most of the time in the past, there had always been the kind people that did what they could to help in their way. That brought me to the lady that helped my sister get her current job. They were best friends who kept in contact all these years and as soon as she heard that her job was hiring she recommended my sister and my sister got it. This was real friendship and there wasn't anyone more deserving of this chance to also elevate like I was trying to make my family than her. This was a genuine bond that was worth cherishing. Since they work together, I had to wait until my sis got home before I got her number from my sister's phone to call and make secret arrangements. That left me with my mom's shop. Honestly it wasn't that hard to hire someone who for all this but I would rather this opportunity went to people that helped us when we were down. Although I had a few people in mind, I couldn't decide on who would be better suited. For my mom, this was a retirement plan and since I didn't want her bored and stressed too, I was leaning towards a few middle aged women we knew who could still work and keep her company too. Besides I she had done vending for the majority of her life and since I didn't want her in any competitive business field, I decided to stock up on the same stationery items she was selling now but on a higher end and at her own pace since it was her own business. To make it further relaxing was why I wasn't thinking of hiring young people who will make the place fast paced. It all also tied to even the location of the shop since it wasn't a busy place. This was the my filial piety I was offering. I started thinking of where she used to work before this. They had a close relationship but my mom took the fall for the supervisor's poor financial management of the place and she was fired. Those ladies were quite supportive and helpful to my mom all her time there and they almost got fired as well for protesting for my mom's job termination.
