Brother's gift

<p>Isabella POV<br/><br/>" How is our surprise, Izzy! " I heard my mother's voice when I hugged my brother with overwhelmed emotions surfacing in my heart. <br/><br/><br/>I stepped back and looked at my mom who was walking toward me. I thought she would be upset with my lies.<br/><br/><br/>" Hey….my naughty brat. Do you think I will be mad at you! " she questioned me.<br/><br/><br/>I went to her and embraced her. It had been two months, I was away from my family because of my photoshoot. <br/><br/><br/>" Let's start…Princess… we are getting late," Ethan reminded me. I nodded my head and informed my manager to send my baggage to our Villa and signaled her to arrange the surprise gift for my brother. <br/><br/><br/>" Everything is done …" she informed me.<br/><br/><br/>" Good. Take one week off, " I said to her.<br/><br/><br/>She gave a big smile and thanked me for one week off. Then she walked away from us.<br/><br/><br/>" Don't you get ready on your brother's special day! Being the most popular model in our country, your every look is very important, " Ethan said.<br/><br/><br/>" Your mind has changed completely into a businessman," I said, rolling my eyes. <br/><br/><br/>We started in my brother's Mercedes car to the event where the business award ceremony is going to happen. I sat opposite him in the passenger whereas my mother sat beside him. My brother gave a gifted box to me and said, " I want you to wear this dress for this award ceremony. I specially designed this dress by the famous fashion designer, Mrs. Roseline Taylor" <br/><br/><br/>" Is this dress designed by Mrs. Taylor! " I asked him without blinking my eyes. He nodded his head with a  small smile. She is one of my  favorite designers. Roseline Taylor is the most renowned designer in the fashion world of the country As per my information, she  used to design dresses for the top most billionaires.<br/><br/><br/>" You are my best brother …." I said, placing my palm on his knuckles.<br/><br/><br/>" Anything for my sister …" he smiled, keeping his palm on my hand which was already on his knuckle.<br/><br/><br/>" I am so proud of you, my son. Once again, congrats…" my mother wished him. He gave a small smile and placed his hand around her shoulder.<br/><br/><br/>" This award doesn't make me happy. I will be happy, only if I achieve my goal…" he replied, looking at me.<br/><br/><br/><br/>On the way to the event hall, my brother ordered the driver to take us to the nearest hotels so that I can get ready. I felt so happy to know how thoughtful my brother is. Even though he is busy with his business, he gives his time to me. We checked in the rooms quickly so that I could wear the dress which he gifted me.<br/><br/><br/><br/>I am always curious to check the gifts from my childhood. So I quickly opened the gift box and picked the dress out. It was a beautiful red sequin thin strapped mermaid floor length dress. I had tears in my eyes looking at the dress.<br/><br/><br/>" Hope my princess liked the dress…." I heard my brother's voice. <br/><br/><br/>I turned back and looked at him with tears, " You still remembered! " I asked him.<br/><br/><br/>He smiled, nodding his head. " Yeah….I remember. You asked our father to buy a mermaid style dress when you were in high school for Christmas. But unfortunately, our father left us suddenly and couldn't fulfil his promise to you   " <br/><br/><br/>Tears spilled out from my eyes when he mentioned our father. <br/><br/><br/>He wiped the tears on my cheeks and said, " Don't get emotional, princess. We will become weak with this kind of feeling. Stay strong…" he patted my shoulder.<br/><br/><br/><br/>" Yeah… " I wiped my tears and went to the changing room to wear that dress. As we were running out of time, I quickly wore the dress and left the hair open.<br/><br/><br/>As soon as I came out of the room, my mother walked towards me  and kissed my cheeks. " You are looking like a princess …"she complimented. I smiled at her and hugged her.<br/><br/>...<br/><br/><br/>We reached the place where the event was taking place.  When we stepped out of the car, we noticed the high class business people, paparazzi  and crowd around us. It was the first time for me to attend this kind of business award ceremony.  I never expected much of a crowd for this sort of ceremony. I heard that many people from different sectors  would  attend this ceremony. <br/><br/><br/>Looking around the crowd, I followed Ethan along with my mother towards the theatre hall. One of the organizer team people was escorting us. As we were entering the theatre hall, we heard the crowd screaming and shouting from the outside.<br/><br/><br/>" Is any celebrity coming here! " My mother asked curiously.<br/><br/><br/>" Yes, Madam. The handsome celebrity from sports …" he answered and indicated our allotted seatings. We walked to our allotted places and sat comfortably. The host started the event and was talking about the program. At the same time, my mobile vibrated as I kept in the silent mode. I wanted to ignore the call but it was from Richa, my Manager. I thought she made a call to inform me about my surprise gift for my brother.<br/><br/><br/><br/>So I stood up from  the chair and walked out towards the exit of the theatre hall. I attended the call and informed her to send it to this place. After ending the call, I noticed only two to three people  in the lobby corridor for a security check. <br/><br/><br/><br/>As I was feeling tired, I wanted to wash my face. I checked the direction board and walked to the ladies restroom. I finished my work in the restroom and came out of it. While looking around the place, I started walking in the lobby corridor.<br/><br/><br/>Suddenly, I sensed the same old fragrance around me. I don't want to feel it. So I started walking quick steps. Just then, one hand pulled me to the nearest corner of the lobby and closed my mouth with palms. My back crashed to one strong muscular chest.<br/><br/><br/>" Izzy baby….it's me …."
