nic jumped out of the cave entrance, and dived into the river below.

as nic entered the water his face showed that of disappointment, he was hoping to find another croc.

his plan was to try to lead it onto the river bank where he would have the advantage, but the deep river did not show life.

nic quickly left the river as their was no point in wasting his time here, he was hoping that he would be able to have another easy win like when he fought the croc.

but it seemed as though he would have to fight the monsters on land which are much more terrifying, not just because of their overwhelming strength compared to nic, but also because of the fact that the forest is full of them.

he was sure even if he had the capability to kill a monster, that another one would come at the sound of the fight.

nic was now on the river bed, he looked at the dense forest infront of him and gulped down his saliva as he entered.

"crock!"

nic turned around with his fist pointed in the direction of the noise, but only seen a regular toad, it scared him as he thought it was another rock toad he let out a sigh of relief and came out of his fighting stance.

he would not be able to even put a scratch on the rock toad if not for phyora, but he left it with Charlotte.

*wosh*

as soon as he was about to turn his head from the toad a long tongue grabbed the toad and brought it up to the tree above in a speed in which if nic had blinked he would have missed it.

looking up at the direction of the tongue he did not see anything.

*wosh* nic narrowly dodge a tongue that was coming towards him from another tree.

"what the hell is up with these trees" nic thought as a tongue from the direction in which the toad was, can be seen coming towards him.

he quickly dodge the tongue, but more keep coming from all the trees around him, he was dancing in the fury of tongues coming towards him.

"it feels so natural" nic mumbled as he danced to the tongues, each narrowly missing him.

for some reason he felt more comfortable in fairies peak and he was able to move as though he was accustomed to the body.

"it can only be my gift doing" nic thought as a smile appeared on his face.

nic kept dodging the attacks, but it was to much if it kept on going this way he would soon run out of stamina.

nic then came up with an idea as he wanted to know what he was fighting before he became its meal, he grabbed at one of the tongues that were coming at him.

the tongue was as soft as a sponge and extremely sticky.

he pulled the tongue towards him and a lizard half his size can be seen falling down from the tree.

nic wanted to go closer to see it but more tongues were coming towards him forcing him to let go of the creature.

as he let go it retracted its tongue and climbed back in the tree, but something even more fascinating happened it started to turn invisible, but it was not invisible as nic could still see its outline.

"camouflage?" nic mumbled, as he looked around at the other trees and began to see more outlines of other lizards similar to the one before.

as he looked on each tree he can see that thier was a total of twenty of these monsters that had surrounded him.

"wosh"

a tongue was coming towards him from behind, nic dodged the tongue by moving to the side, he did not even see the tongue coming but it was almost as if he could have sensed it.

"alright then I'll use you guys as training" nic said as he smiled, he have never trained himself in fairies peak, and their was alot of things he did not know about this form, afterall this is the form which makes fairies a race to not be taken lightly.

the barrage of tongues came at a frightening speed and nic kept dodging as he forgot what was his main target in the first place.

"Huff, huf.."

two hours later and he was finally exhausted, a big smile was on his face as the monsters on the trees had all lost interest and were not sending out their tongues to grab him.

"I would have been way more stronger with my wings" nic mumbled, he was pretty much very agile in fairies peak and had a descent speed, but with his wings hovering abilitie he would have been able to go faster.

"QINK!!"

a large cry was heard close behind of him, as soon as the cry was heard the lizards were so frightened that they came out of their camouflage and looked in the direction with fear, the lizards were that of monster chameleons, only difference they had to a normal chameleon was just their enormous size.

they then began to camouflage once again but this time nic can see that they were running away, the bushes rustled as the camouflaged monsters ran through them.

nic turned his gaze to the direction in which the sudden cry was heard, he can soon see that trees were being shaken and a big giant creature was approaching from the depths of the forest.

"shit" nic said as he seen that it was a giant rhino, the same as the one he had seen when he had entered this strange place.

he was prepared to run but soon realized that the rhino was covered in blood, deep wounds can be seen on the rhinos hid.

"this is perfect!, it seems close to death door, it's almost like a gift sent from heaven" nic was overjoyed seeing that he would not have to put much effort in the hunt after all.

the giant rhino ran passed him, and went in the direction towards the cave, seeing this nic was even more happy and followed behind, he failed to realize that he was hunting another monsters prey, that was slowly following the rhinos blood.
