The beginning of Ravenholm's tragedy

'Where am I? did I get kidnapped... Nah no way who would kidnapp an orphan, you have to be crazy or wanting to experiment some sick shit on me because I don't have any worth... What I just said made my paranoia even worse, Ok Right time to get now.'

[[You ain't going anywhere buddy o'pal.]]

'Oh for fuck sake... Alright let's stay calm down here Joel a voice just spoke to you through the darkness, let's answer back with a proper and dignified answer.'

"SOMEONE HELP I'VE BEEN KIDNAPPED!!".

[[*Sigh*... great I have to work with a dumbass... alright listen to me am your system here to help you SURVIVE this world because the place you've been placed at is Half Life 2, were tyrants who are known as the Combine, an advanced alien race who took over Earth within 3 hours now occupies it.]]

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT YOU CRAZY BASTARD". Joel never played any Half Life games not because he was poor, the man draws most of his time and doing his job so he doesn't know anything that is Half Life, but he does remember that Gmod was originally found Half Life but that's all he has to go with.

[[Ok you know what... I won't explain to you, just know that this world you live in is a hell hole. That's why am here to help YOU survive, So let's just get a move on and get the show on the road.]]

Inside the darkened room the lights shoot on blinding Joel for a bit but as he steady's himself he realise he's been standing the whole time, He notices that the room he's in is all made out of wood, as well as being small. When he was done getting adjusting to the light, Joel finds a wooden door across him and walked towards it.

When he opens the door Joel finds himself facing towards a town built on the coast of an ocean, as he was enjoying the fresh coast air he noticed that there were people walking around the town. Joel hurried towards the town hoping they'll tell him where he might be, the sun was setting giving the town a beautiful orange light towards it like the heavens were showing him his objective, little did he know that the place he was entering was going to turn into a horror town.

He finally arrives into town noticing how very close the buildings where to each other, but that didn't bother him as he finally spot another human being.

"Hey can you help me? am lost and don't know where I am".

"Oh if you follow the signs they'll lead you towards the pla-" that man was quickly disrupted by Joel.

"No No no you see am not from this town... I just woke up somewhere and ended up here, am asking what town this is?".

The man gave Joel a questioning look but answered him anyway."Your in Ravenholm friend the best place to be in, the whole place is controlled by the rebels so we don't need to fear the combine here and they don't even know this place even exist".

'He remembers the system talking about the combine and how their an alien race that took over Earth and rules it with an iron fist, but a thought came towards him why would the combine take over Earth he's been told that their an advance alien race so why ta-'. Joel was interuppted when heard multipole wheezing air sounds coming from the sky, he looked up to see what it was and noticed a bunch of black missiles heading towards Ravenholm.
