Illusion of Human

The chieftain looked at Silbva with scrutinized eyes, clearly attempting to figure out her status amongst druids.

Most druids wore a form of blade on their person, even a knife in the boot. Silbva didn't. Moreover, Silbva didn't wear traditional druid apparel, instead opting for common cloth clothes. In all appearances, she was a gorgeous human farmer's daughter.

The other tribal leaders gathered around Mountain, curious.

One of them, a female with a scar on her cheek, came and looked at Silbva.

"Ga'Lat, not a good idea." Said Mountain.

Ga'Lat glanced at Silbva, then looked back at Mountain.

"She looks harmless enough. I don't see why you're interested i-"

She was interupted by a root that had wrapped itself around her entire body. In an instant, it had raised her off the ground and slammed Ga'Lat onto her back.

Silbva was surprised to see Ga'Lat's face after releasing the root. Instead of immense pain, Ga'Lat showed joy and faint pleasure. After getting up, Ga'Lat nodded at Silbva.

"I like this one." She said.

"Ga'Lat, step aside."

The chief pushed her to the side.

"Enough!" He shouted. "Ga'Lat, bring me my knives..." Looking at Silbva, the chieftain had a sinister idea. "Better yet. Mountain! You'll have the honors."

Mountain looked between the chief and Silbva, again and again.

"I have no reason to attack a human, nor to follow your orders." Mountain said finally.

The chieftain glared at him.

"Is that a challenge, you half-orc bastard?"

Mountain glared back at the chief, hints of unending rage appearing in his eyes.

"Don't forget what my other 'half' is, Chieftain. I stay with the tribe at my pleasure, and I will leave if it suits me. If you insist, I accept your challenge, but I will not take your title."

"Over something as worthless as a human, you are truly humiliating to this tribe."
