Haikyuu: A Life of Joy

Emiko was a successful businesswoman with a carefree attitude. One day when coming back from work, her computer notified a strange survey. Emiko, like the lousy person she is, completed it for fun. So it wouldn't be a shock for her to end up in a 2d world, right? Especially if it was about volleyball.

Chapter 1 [Emiko, a Businesswoman]

A massive building about 579 feet tall with luxurious, shiny features. The dream that every business agent wishes to enter. Emiko Corporation. On the top floor of that very establishment is the office of the owner, Emiko. She is currently lying on the floor after whatever shenanigan she was doing.

"I knew business would be hard but not STRESSFUL!"

Yes, this is the same Emiko who is known as "Emiko the Supreme," "The Queen of Businesses," "The Angelic Demon." The same now-historical figure for being the richest businesswoman in charge of 497 well-known companies.

"Why did I even become an entrepreneur again? …right. Because of him. Stupid Josh."

Emiko wasn't born wealthy, instead, quite the opposite. She was an orphan who came from an impoverished orphanage. They were very poor to the point even the staffs were not well-fed. Despite the circumstances, Emiko was a positive child, always making somebody's day better. The reason was because of her older brother, Joshua. Joshua and Emiko were abandoned since birth but that didn't change their happiness, of course, until he died.

"JOSH!!!"

"Emiko, *cough* don't, cry. It's not as if I'm *cough* dying."

"But you're coughing BLOOD!"

"Oh, that's funny."

"IT'S NOT FUNNY!"

"*cough* calm down Emi. Dead or alive, promise me one thing. Be the richest person ever, *cough* save those like us, and *cough* don't forget to watch Haikyuu. Every. Single. Day."

"That's more than one thing Josh."

"Just promise *cough* me."

"Fine. I promise."

"Thanks. Oh and could you-"

"I'm not going to clear your search history. You're going to die so you better die with shame."

"I'm not going *cough* to-"

"I heard the staffs talking over. Stop lying. And your time is almost up, right?"

"…I'm sorry."

"It's fine…nah, it's not. I'm still angry. So just sleep, it doesn't change the fact I love you."

"Arigato, Emi. Really. And Luv ya 2."

It was silent after that. But Emiko knew what to do. So here she is. Emiko, the richest businesswoman alive. Also known to have sponsored over many programs in charge of helping those in need, and now it's almost time for work to be over.

"I'll be on the last episode again. How many would that be, 45? Perfect for my age."

It's been years since Emiko finished Haikyuu but because she's a woman of her words, she continued watching it every single day. As a 45-year-old woman, this would be her 45th time finishing the entire anime, quite ironically.

RING-A-LING! DING! DING! BONG!

It was time to clock out. Emiko jumped up and reached for her bags. She hurried out the window and exited with a glider. I mean, as a famous figure, people would be flowing in the moment she opened her office door, so the window was the only option left. And in terms of her preference, flying felt much better than staying in a stuffy car. Finally, she landed on her mansion's gate with the "servants" ready to lend a hand.

The rich lady gave her glider to a machine and marched into her home, specifically the bedroom. Yes, a machine. Emiko has invested in a robot company that makes robots so she can have servants. It's really helpful now that the woman don't have to worry about assassination, though it never happened. Emiko changes into her pjs and turn on the tv, clicking on the remote to watch the final episode of Haikyuu for the 45th time.

"It never changes, huh? But each time I watch it, it gives a different impact."

The middle-aged woman turns off the TV and heads to bed when-

BZZT! BZZT! BZZT! BZZT! BZZT! BZ-

"WHERE IN THE WORLD IS TH-huh?"

The cause of the annoying sound is Emiko's dear computer which she never remembers turning on. There is a notification popped up, titled "The Survey."
