Survival Class with RR

Arriving at one of the hidden diners in the university called WildBoars Nest. They entered the diner and the mouthwatering smell of the various dishes awoken their sleepy heads.

*stomach grumbling*

"Why don't we go an' grab something to eat? I'm starving already" said Helios as they sat on one of the vacant tables of the diner.

After Eating at WildBoars Nest the three of them walk back into the university to attend the first day of class.

Helios and Andres were in a different section while Rizal is in his second year in the university so the three of them went to different buildings.

The classroom was very noisy outside and you can hear the clatter along the length of the hallway where Helios was walking. As he approached towards and room and began to enter, then suddenly everyone got quiet that you could hear a needle dropping on the floor. Everyone was glaring at him, but he ignored their gaze as he was already expecting it to happen after the Food Wars stunt he pulled in the enrolment chapter.

As Helios began to walk slowly into the class, a buff chad-like alpha male sort of guy stood up and arrogantly approached him along with his three underlings.

The chad blocked Helios' path.

"So, you're the prick who arrogantly challenged the top twenty ability users of this island."

Helios looked towards him with an uninterested face.

"Who cares?" he lazily replied,

"As your upstanding classmate, I'm obliged to show you the gap between Heaven and—"

"Yeah yeah yeah Heaven and Earth,

" Whatever,

" I don't care,

" Can you move out of the way?"

Helios said even more lazily, but the chad continued to block Helios when suddenly—

"OKAY CLASS SETTLE DOWN"

The instructor shouted as he entered the classroom.

"You're lucky that the instructor arrived!"

The man proudly said as he walked back to his seat along with his minions.

Helios shakes his head after hearing what the man said while he walked into a vacant seat at the back row near the window just like every Shounen protagonist should.

"Now this is where a protagonist should sit!" Helios said to himself while looking at some generic scenery in the window.

Class was now about begin and the instructor began saying,

"Listen up you good-for- nothing excuse as a human-being who go on dates with their parents' money—I am Professor Ryan Reynolds your advisor and instructor in your Survival Subject"

He introduces himself while writing his name on the whiteboard.

"But you can call me Professor DP for short", he added.

'This certain British accent, why does it sound familiar' Helios thought in his mind.

"Got any questions?" the professor said.

A female student raised her hand and asked,

"Sir, why is your nickname DP, shouldn't it be RR since your name is Ryan Reynolds?"

"Because that's what she said," the professor replied

"Wait whut?", the female student said, confused, as she should be

"Nothing, nevermind, it's actually a secret, or rather, I can't say it to you for fear of copyright claim reasons, teehee," the professor exclaimed.

'Aha! Now I remember where I heard of that accent! It was from this certain british guy from this certain survival show, from this certain science channel that I used to watch in my previous world!' Helios pondered.

"Okay, no more questions? Now let's go back to the topic at hand,

"Since I already introduced myself to everyone, I think it's time for y'all to introduce yourself,"

The professor swept his view around the room then settled towards a random student and pointed out to him saying,

"Why don't we start the introduction with you?"

The student stood and introduced himself while bragging about his ability and dreams.

"I'm Helmut Kincade, my ability is fire manipulation and I want to become the strongest fire manipulator!"

The introduction continued with the rest of the class until it was time for our shounen protagonist to introduce himself finally after 40-ish chapters!

When it was Helios's turn, the whole classroom became quiet again, and everyone was staring daggers at him. He got up from his chair and introduced himself,

"Hi, I'm Helios Black, I'm the guy who had the guts to challenge the to top twenty ability users in this island,"

"Unlike some scaredy-cats around here,"

Helios said, without looking at any of his classmates.

After he finished his introduction the whole classroom was in a frenzy as almost all of them started cursing Helios for his egotistical behavior.

After a few minutes, Ryan Reynolds was able to calm the raging students.

He warned Helios that he should stop riling up his classmates and start trying to get along with them.

But his words fell on deaf ears,

"Now we should start our Survival class. First, I would like to ask you all a question

"Why do you think this subject exists?

A female student raises her hand,

"Yes Ms. Graylock, what's your answer?"

"We need this subject because as ability users, we need the tenacity to be able to survive in any kind of environment,"

"What Ms. Graylock said was correct because no matter how strong you and gifted in your ability you are, there are a lot of factors that can screw you over in the wild and kill you— if you die then that's it, it's the end of the line for you.

"Which is why in this subject I will teach you how to survive in any environment, being able to fight another day, so in our first lesson, we will be tackling your survival experience.

"Probably most of you never had any crazy survival experience to tell, but that's okay because in this class you're going to be forced—, I mean, gain plenty of survival experience in different harsh conditions and environments,

"So here are the requirements to pass this subject,

"You must be able to survive, alone in an island ….

"somewhere ….

"in the Frontier dimension ….

"for...

"one …

"month…

"without any contact with this world,

"If you fail to accomplish this task,

"Then you'll be expelled from this university"

Professor Ryan Reynolds grinned.
