chapter 11 Sias pov

We begin our journey to the waterfall on horse back a small group of twenty but all of us our strong. I even have my brother, cousins , close friends including silvy who I've always had a crush on. I'm just to scared of rejection to tell her how I've felt for these past couple of years, even the nights she gets drunk then kisses me and always she never remembers it.

I'm happy she came along with us it as the one reason I thought I would not go with my family, but se agreed when she found out we were leaving.

I would do anything for her I'd even die for her or kill for her, I've always felt a pull to her and Carra said she could be my mate and her being human they still feel it but differently than we do and they always ant to be close to their mate. I wish she would call out mate or something I know I felt like it the first time I seen her when we were younger her father has worked for Wei since before she was born.

When I first saw her everyone else ceased to exist it as only her I remember we stood there staring at each other for ten to twenty minutes until her father grabbed her pulling her toward the wagon to go to the market.

I'll find out on this journey and if she is or if she's not I'm still going to tell her how I feel, I dont know why she came with us since her father Is staying with the caravan and I pray she doesn't like any one else.

Its been an hour ride since we left camp I have silvy nestled in between m and my brothers horses aside catch her from the corner of my eye staring at me. That makes me smile as I look ahead to outright I see two sets vultures circling to different spots, a rock hits the bottom of my stomach when I think often and Emilia so I through of my fist making everyone come to a stop.

" cai do you see the vultures in two spots to the right" I said as he nods his head yes, I glance to the others as they get off their horses while silvy and the other young girl take the horses reigns.

" ok you two go with Cai" I said as I pick Cais two friends to go with him, I know they're fit and good warriors.

I then pick Silvy to accompany me I know my skills can outmatch the whole group so I only took her so I could protect her and keep an eye on her.

You fifteen will stay here in a circle stance with bows ready, do not seperate from the group no matter what you hear or see. I take out 3 of the crystals that Carra gave us I give one to wei, Silvy and one to rin who is going to be the leader until I return.

I pull out my spear as do the others pulling out their swords I nod to my brotheras our groups separate.

Silvy andi walk away from the trail about 2 miles as we got closer the smell got worse, we see a man hanging from the tree i grab Silvys hand as we enter away from where the man was gently swinging by the wind blowing. I then see a man a cpl feet from the man that is hung laying face first on the ground. We walk closer I can see that he was gutted and it is not a rope he was hung by but his own intestine wrapped around his neck. Silvy gasps then turns around puking, i walk closer to the bodies seeing a hole through the chest of the one on the ground where his heart use to be.

" Silvy throw me the crystal so I can record it for Carra and send it to her and Cai" I said as i caught it in mid air winking at Sivy as she rolls her eyes then smiles as her cheeks turn pink.

(' shit did she just blush') I thought to myself as I record both he the bodies getting all the details of how we found them and then I turn him over to see the body on the ground better. I noticed faint black lines running throughout his face and even on his hands, I've never seen them on someone before.

I see smoke rise up from the crystal then Carra appears in front of me with a look i only see a handful of times.

" Sia you all get back to your group right now and get as far away from here as you can get now" Carra sad as i grab Silvys hand running toward where my brother was going, Silvy was having a hard time keeping up so I squat down making her get on my back and as soon as she does I run quick and flawlessly like I was a part of the forest. It took us no time to catch up to where my brother was, I see all three of there faces while my brother recorded the two bodies or the now mummified looking bodies. I could see them well enough to see these black veins running through their faces, as I pull silvy into my chest hiding her from seeing them I couldn't shield her back at the other bodies.

" Cai, Carra said we have to go now and get far away from here" I said as I motion to them I turn around squatting letting silvy climb on my back.

" you three now our group could be in danger as well" I said asvi start running looking back to make sure all three is behind me. We quickly made our way back to the road where everyone was waiting on us, I get silvy to her horse as I hoist her up then jump on mine as soon as every one is mountedwe take off leaving the area as quick as we can.

After a few hours of having our horses going as quick as they can we slow down giving them a break as we come up on a small pond. I help Silvy down from her horse as I take both the reigns in one hand as I hold her hand with my other.

" I want you to stay by my side no matter what, we will even share a tent ad also do everything together while I keep guard." I ad as Silvys face turns blood red she stares at the ground with a shy smile griping my hand tight.
