Stopping at the inn (2)
"Ah!" The mer did not expect to run into someone, his eyes widened and he opened his mouth to scold the person but stopped when he saw the woman who stood in front of him.
"Are you okay?" Yu Dong was also quite surprised when she felt someone bump into her but she didn't take it to heart. She looked down at the mer who was standing in front of her and questioned, "Are you hurt somewhere, mister?"
"—Ah no, I am fine, I am fine," the mer snapped out of his daze when Yu Dong repeated her question. He blinked his eyes and looked at the woman like a besotted lovesick fool.
"I see," though Yu Dong was uncomfortable with the gaze of the mer, she did not say anything. She asked the mers inside the carriage to get down and then went inside the Inn with the carriage driver carrying their luggage leaving the mer behind.
