Interview with the Widow

Mika and I attended the meeting at the GOH site.

My father was there,his colleagues were there.Professor Phenyo was the host,as usual.

“Intern’s I called you all here to talk about a new case that has come up,which might also be a chance for you to show how badly you want to become agent’s. You heard right I said becoming agent’s. You first have to become agent’s before you become guardian’s. An agent solves paranormal crime’s using technology alone but a guardian solves crimes using both technology and power’s which you will learn should you choose to become guardian’s. As you know there had been weird events occurring online. Many of our young people victims of an evil church called the United Angels of God Church and we believe a very dangerous woman by the name of Bella Santos is involved in this. Your job as the intern’s is to try and locate the people who are operating the church,while the Guardians work on finding Bella”Said.Professor Phenyo.

“Thank you Mr Phenyo, any questions?”asked Ben, who was also attending the meeting.

Mika raised his hand “How much will we get paid for solving case’s?” he asked.

The intern’s laughed in amusement.

“You will get paid for any contribution you make in solving cases. The more you solve a case,they bigger the benefits. Eventually you will get promoted to have your own office, Your own clearance to the lab should you wish to solve cases with genetic engineering. Lastly you will be given a weapons to use in case you need to protect yourself.”

The everyone in the room cheered..but Katlego seemed dissatisfied..

“what about uniforms,don’t we get a cool uniform? she asked.

“No uniform allowed,you wear anything that makes you feel comfortable but no uniform as we are fighting to keep your identity hidden.

The crowd cheered.

When the meeting was over, everyone went their way.

Mika and I agreed to solve the case together.My father waved at me from a distance,I hugged Mika and part ways.

“Please come back,the house is lonely without you” My father pleaded.

I was hesitant,I enjoyed my freedom,there was not enough reason for me to leave my apartment.

“I really can’t,it’s not you it’s me,I just enjoy my own space”

My father was slightly disappointed but he agreed to respect any decision I made. Winter was officially over,now came the dusty season of August,also the birthday month of my dearly beloved friend Mika. If we could solve the case and also make an awesome party for him it would be a double win. Only ten days were left before his birthday and I still didn’t hadn’t figured out which present to get him. But I also had to focus on solving the case.

To begin our search Mika and I had to make an analysis of the information we already knew in order to find the information which we hadn’t figured out yet. Firstly, The church operated online which meant it had an IP address. Secondly, the church was operated by three siblings,Issac,Tony and Mashiah which meant that we had to find them one by one. Thirdly Bella Santos was involved, we needed to find out why? The case seemed simple because I was allowed to work on it with my partner.

“Have you found their website yet?” asked Mika.

“Yes and after an hour trying to hack into their system well I’m proud to announce that I finally managed to find their IP address”

“Good work,we are going somewhere”

Finding the IP address was easier than I had thought. It now came to us to find who the IP address belonged to. We sought to solve the case quicker. We connected the IP address to our tracking software,The small screen on out tracker indicated that the IP operator was located in the Cape flats.

Before we left,we took with us two shot guns and a few grenades,should we be forced to make use of them.We would be prepared for anything.

As we approached the flats, a huge muscled man with a tattoo of a snake on his left arm approached us aggressively.

“What are you doing here?”he asked,mending his fists.

“We don’t want any trouble,we are only looking for someone,then we will be on our way”I replied.

“Who is someone?” the tattooed man asked.

“We don’t really know, all we know is that he or she lives here” Mika replied.

The tattooed man became more aggressive as he thought he was being mocked.

He tried throwing a punch on Mika’s face,but Mika avoided the punch, and threw three continuous punches on the man’s stomach..The man fell down.

“Please don’t kill me, I’m Frank but my friends call me funky,I will help you just let me go”He cried.

I nearly laughed.

“Excellent!Is there anyone here by the surname of Kirwo?”I asked.

“Uhm, yes yes there is..His name is..Tonia or Tony I think..he helps people hack in their partners social media accounts,awesome right?” said the man .

“Take us to him”mika said,grabbing the man from behind. The man led us to the hacker’s room.

“That’s him”the tatooed man said.

A young lean bodied man was locking his door from outside,he saw that we were staring at him, he quickly ran away,I followed him all the way till I could catch him before he could even go that far.

“Thanks for your help” Mika said throwing a strong punch across the tatooed man’s face,causing him to faint,then he ran after me.

“Who are you?”the lean bodied man asked with a puzzled look upon his face.

“the real question is who are you?” said Mika.

“my name is Tony, who are you?”

“We are what you want us to become,I suggest you give us everything you know about the United Angels of God Church, now come with us”said Mika.

Both Mika and I pushed Tony inside the back of my father’s Black SUV,which he gave me to use it whenever I needed to.

After receiving five punches from Mika,Tony finally decided to give a full confession. He admitted that he designed the websites and social media pages for the church while her sister and brother offered prayers and miracle’s to the follower’s .He also gave me and my partner the location’s of both of his siblings,but claimed that Mashiah moved quite often but would be found in her favourite spa,in the Stellenbosch area.

Mika and I paid a visit to Mashiah,she was on her way to the spa,we blocked her before she could even enter the building,she was annoyed.

“Whats going on here?”she asked.

“We are the police and we want to ask you questions about The United Angels of God Church!”I stated.

“Show me your badge and warrant!”mashiah said angrily..

I took out a warrant signed under the GOH board without any official logo as it was supposed to be unknown by the public, Mashiah protested as she was not convinced that mika and I were police officer’s, she began to scream but Fortunately I had an aggressive partner,Mika punched the lady into unconsciousness,then he and I put her at the back of the Black SUV,we were driving.

As she gained consciousness,I began the interrogation.

Trembling in fear,she asked whether Mika and I were terrorists of which we both found to be hilarious,we both laughed to that.

“Hello Mashiah, what do you know about the UAGC?” I asked.

“I help prophecy people and help them with their problems. If this about the lies their spreading about my church,then I have no further comment.”

“If indeed you are telling the truth,then perhaps you won’t mind helping us find your brother Issac,Right?” mika said sternly.

“Why?we did nothing wrong!”

“Then if that is the case you will not ask why,you will only help us,or perhaps we need to allow the board to decide your fate,?”

“Okay”

“Your brother Tony assisted us in finding you, but I personally have done my own research on you. Mashiah you have been a busy girl haven’t you? Who is Mr Klassen” I asked.

Mahiah blinked three times.

“fine I will help you with whatever you want to know just please don’t mention that person ever again, please!”,she begged.

Mashiah led us to Isaac’s house,what we found was dreadfully disturbing.

As we entered into the house,we were all welcomed with a horrible smell that something had been rotting, Mika went to the bedroom, there was nothing suspicious found in it,I went to the bathroom and found Isaac’s head,the eye’s were white all over,no appearance of the pupil,I nearly screamed but as anintern training to prove herself worthy of becoming an agent of the hex I had to remain calm. Mashiah went to the kitchen and there she found Issac’s body, the only missing parts were his private parts. She screamed when saw the body. Mika was busy taking photos of the incident.

Mashiah began crying bitterly..

“Who would do this?”she asked.

“Do you have his wife’s number!”

Mashiah gave me her phone as she was still in shock she could not utter a word at that time. Until she took large breaths to calm herself down.

“Go to Sandra Kirwo!”She said in a trembling voice.

I searched through the phone and finally found the name.Sandra answered.I told her the sad news,she asked that we wait for her.She arrived in less than 15 minutes.

She seemed shocked as well and just like her sister in law,began to cry bitterly. The police arrived quicker than we expected and put the house under investigation,no one was allowed to enter anymore except forensics team.

“Where were you?”Mashia asked..angrily..

“I didn’t know ..I”Sandra tried to reply but she couldn’t say anything for that moment.

“Mrs Kirwo I’m sorry at what has happened to your husband, I can see that you’re still shocked however I really need your help, perhaps we could even find the person responsible for murdering your husband in such an inhumane manner” I said. Sandra agreed to corporate.

“my husband had always wanted to build a huge church but due to financial difficulties he struggled to make that dream a reality. That is when Bella Santos came into the picture.” Sandra said.

“My husband did not introduce me to Bella, he only told me that she was helping him with the funds he needed for the church,only to find out eventually that the two were having an affair for three years. I also found hard proof evidence that indicated that my husband and Bella were having an affair hence I filed for a divorce.This was two months ago.I found it hard to stay in the same house as my husband therefore decided to stay in a rented apartment for a week but I extended my stay to two months as I was too emotional to face my husband,I looked over all the obstacles that Issac and I faced during our marriage and decided to give it one more try,I tried to call him but there was no answer..i just told myself that I ought to wait for his call instead,hoping that there could still be a chance to fix my marriage”Sandra explained.

“Can you remember what Bella looked like?”

“Yes,I could never forget that woman’s face,I hate her!”Sandra shouted.

Sandra described Bella’s feature’s,while I made a sketch of her face..

“She had a square shaped face,her eyes were big and wide,her jaw was strong and her teeth were all perfectly shaped. Her private photos were in my husbands cellphone.” she added.

When the interrogation had ended, Mika and I took Mashiah to the GOH with her eyes covered where she was placed in the same cell with her brother Tony.
