"The way you went woosh and Bam was so cool!, what's your name?, what familia are you from" The half-elf in front of me stared asking me excitedly.

*Bonk*

A redhead appeared behind the elf and bonked her on the head with a chop.

"Ow!!"

"Leave them alone Lante, they have no obligation to tell us" She gave an apologetic smile towards us and said

"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rethusa, captain of the Artemis familial"

"Nice to meetcha, My name is Francisco Lopez but you can just call me Francis. The one with the white hair is my brother Angel Lopez and the elf is also my brother, Alex Lopez" I introduced myself.

She raised her eyebrow in surprise, I can't really blame her since I'm saying that I'm brother with two other people that look absolutely nothing like me.

"Eh? Your name is Francisco?, I didn't know that" spoke Uriel by my side, I guess I never told her my full name.

"Oh yeah, this is Uriel by the way, she is one of the victims of the wyvern attack. It's the reason we came here and helped out with their extermination" I spoke, uriel on my side nodded.

"If that's the case, then I can only thank you for your assistance. If you hadn't appeared some of the girls would have been gravely injured. I never thought that a monster could reach level three strength" suddenly spoke Artemis, Throughout our whole exchange she had been quiet.

As if observing my every move while trying to figure out more about us.

Can't blame her though, I would do the same.

She then directed her gaze to Uriel and spoke "Would you like to join my familiar, Uriel, if you have nowhere to go you could join us" Artemis offered.

Dam is this woman trying to steal her!

Wait, she ain't even mine to begin with.

I guess I got attached to her in just a few hours. Can't blame me tough, her cute and cheerful personality really makes me feel something.

Uriel by my side, opened her eyes wide in surprise at the sudden offer. "Um Francis, what will you do once you arrive at Orario?"

"I think me and my brothers are going into the dungeon" I answered back.

She went into deep thought

"Miss Artemis, can Francis and his brothers join to?" asked Uriel, seems like she still wants to hang around with us.

But to bad that she hadn't noticed one small detail, her whole familia is female only.

Artemis shook her head "I am sorry Child but men aren't allowed"

Uriel frowned at this, she once again went into deep thought as if trying to figure out what to do. "I'm sorry Goddess but I have decided to stay by Francis's side," she said in a resolute tone.

Artemis sighed, she probably knew already that she was going to choose us over some random familia. They have good intentions but not good enough to make her leave us.

"It's a pity, and even if I did let me into the familia, I don't think they would join since they are already in one"

Oi oi oi, since when were we in a familiar?

Can't elves use magic despite not being in a familia.

"Really, what familia are you in?" Artemis' words seemed to snap Uriel out of her thoughts.

"Sorry but we aren't in any familiar" I responded

Artemi's expression turned into a surprised one, her lying detection probably told her that I said the truth

"Really, then how are you so strong? You can't really uppercut a level 3 wyverns without falna" spoke Rethusa.

This is getting annoying, it feels like they are interrogating us. Angel and Alex also have a frowning expression on their faces.

Artemis seemed to notice our expressions "Apologies but as Rethusa said, it's not every day you see someone without a familia punch a level 3 wyvern" She looked genuine in her apology.

With a sigh, I said "It's fine, I don't mind asking as it doesn't get personal. By the way we're is the nearest river?, my clothes are all bloodied" Uriel blushed as she probably remembered me cleaning her face.

I managed to wipe off the blood of her before it dried up.

"Just follow straight up there and you will find a river" pointed Artemis, with a nod me, and my brothers headed over there.

Uriel herself went with the Artemis familia to bathe on a lake opposite the river we were heading to.

"So what level are you guys and what did you get" We were sitting here in the river enjoying the water. I've already washed my clothes and equipment so we decided to chill here for a bit.

The last time I went out in the wild like this was when my friend invited me to go hunting with him

"I'm level 2 and I got 5 tickets" (Angel)

"I'm also level 2 and got five tickets (Alex)

"Really? I'm level 3 and 5 tickets also" I'm surprised that they are so low, thought that they would at least be level three like me, but I guess I was the one that killed most of them.

[A/N: The scaling for their system and danmachi is different. For every 10 levels is a maxed-out stats level 1 here in Danmachi]

I'm pretty sure the only reason we won was because of our good equipment and skills.

I almost got chomped on by the Xenos because I ran out of mp. Could have done more but the void arrow I shot at the beginning took a lot of light.

I should try to minimize my energy usage in my skills.

"Alright then, let's draw and see what we get" They both nodded and stared clicking the air, these morons probably don't know that they can ask the system to do it.

Hmm, I didn't get much stuff that would be good. Tough the switchblade is cool and I could also put it to good use.

And the save-o-book is extremely good for a B-rank item.

I could shove my ult inside the book 4 times right now and unleash them all at once toward someone, never mind, it's five considering that my light is recovered.

"So what did you guys get" I asked.

"Nothing much, just a few thermite grenades, and equipment. The only good thing I got was the Needler from halo" That's pretty good, if somebody asked me to say the name of a Halo gun from the top of my head I would definitely say Needler.

It's just that iconic.

"I got some low-level recover potions, some materials for crafting but I'll have to wait to get my arm's other features for that. I also got the Moonveil Katana" (Alex)

The recovery potions will be good for when we get to the dungeon, I'm sure the ones they sell over there are going to be expensive as hell.

I'm also quite jealous that he got the Moonveil Katana.

Alex didn't play Elden Ring but he does know about most things because I played it. I used to talk about the Moonveil, rivers of blood, and other things while we ate at the dining table.

Angel on the other hand... I'm pretty dam sure he doesn't know a single thing.

"I'll teach you how to use a sword later, you haven't used the Master sword just because you don't know how to use it" I myself didn't know how to use a sword until I got the Aincrad sword style from the system. The only type of fighting I knew from back home was some martial arts.

Alex nodded, he understood that he couldn't just stand on the back as support and shoot arrows.

"Also have this" I handed him [Ancient Gospel], I don't really need it since I already have [Ace of Spades]. I'll also have to teach him to use it, I knew how to use firearms in my past life also, my family didn't have guns but my friend did invite me to the gun range with his family.

Alex took it and put it in his storage.

"Besides the gun I gave Alex, I also got this book. It allows me to save magical attacks inside its pages but only four of them"

After that we talked for a while, making combos and showing things that we could use to our advantage.

Angel wanted my hidden blades but I said no, good thing he specified that he wanted an AR of bit then I would have had to give it to him.

We also talked about a few other concerning matters. The fire Uriel subconsciously emitted in her lashout was dangerous.

I don't know why but I felt that if I touched them I would have been incinerated out of existence.

Maybe I could survive them once I get the solar subclass.

It also showed that I was right about her having talent.

It's very hard to get magical skills when you have falna and even harder when you don't.

So her showing those fire powers already shows that she will be stronger in the future. I should probably train her along with Alex in the way of the sword.

But before that I'll have them go through some body training, Alex can lift one up thanks to his physique and Uriel can hold one too but she can't swing it properly without getting tired easily.

Angel is just shit at anything close combat so he will be sticking with guns from now on

We have a long way ahead of us.
